Yeah it was definitely frustrating at points, and I had to grit my teeth and just git 'er done. And I'm not really sure since I never keep track, but probably around 10 hours or so

That is amazing. Capturing the light and dark in a glass like that has always been beyond me.

Thank you very much! Yeah, so I pretty much wanted to slit my wrists with the paper in some of the sections, but I'm glad I finished this bad boy. I might try another glass piece if I ever sink into the depths of insanity again, it was an interesting experience to say the least.

I'm just guestimating here, but probably around 10 hours?
I never keep track because I usually work in such disjointed spurts that I'd be spending more time watching the clock then actually drawing.

Well doll I love it!!! Gotta admit it... but since u encourage advance critique...
I have a commentary...
On the left-hand side looking at it up-front the angle of the glass is a bit more pronounced than that of the other side making it look weird...
Other than that I LOVE IT...the contrast is perfect and the light and shadow are well placed. Glass and water can be tricky...

At the moment he works for the government's forensic department...
I don't really understand much of it but his job entails keeping everythingt that goes on legal and nice and uptight.
He's the nexus... complicated legal stuff...

Well he has some ability to make things hard look easy... He was never tremendously busy nor stressed and managed to get his title... I certainly wish I could do that but it seems that my system works based on over work and extreme obsession... such is life in the tropics...

OMG! you're amazing! I thought this was a PHOTO! in fact, I was gonna tell you that this "photo" is celestial beverage to pencil artists to use it as a reference, but it's actually drawn already! lol And I don't know why but I love the effect that you get from pencil in a canvas, cause it looks rough, not as neat and real it would from a special smooth paper, but still, it looks challenging, beautiful. This pieces are more likely to be observed from afar
