9 x 12" GraphiteWatercolor Paper (don't ask)
So I don't hate it.
That has to count for something.
I thought this would be quicker and easier than it was, but it wasn't deadly. It got a bit boring in certain parts, but overall I think I'd like to draw glass again... I'm annoyed that the white didn't come out white with the scan, but what can I do.
And man, graphite pencils are demon spawn sometimes, but had to use them here. I don't know if I could have done this in conte unless I would have gone way bigger in size.

And I don't know if this category is right either.

Excellent study. Looks very realistic. You have some photographic distortion that carried over from the reference photo, which keeps it looking like a photograph rather than real. Again excellent work!

Can't imagine trying to sit in the same spot for that long, trying to maintain the same angle. Jeez, it's death even thinking about it haha.

Hahah its not as bad as it seems. you don't even need to try very hard to maintain thew same angle, the most important part is that your light source stays uniform.

I really would like to try some still life studies too, but that would mean cleaning off my desk and finding something interesting in the house. Bah, that's not very likely to happen any time soon

Haha you don't have to look to hard for something to draw.. simply draw your messy desk. I'll bet there are plenty of challenges and a large variety of textures just within that messy desk

Those textures would kill me, I'm not that ambitious haha. I was thinking something along the lines of different fruits, maybe just three random things from around my room that really define 'me', or then something weird like 3 completely different types of shoes grouped together. Yeah, don't ask, I'm random like that

No way is that not a photo!
Glass is so hard to draw. I tried drawing coke bottles in an art project. I called it "Coke on drugs" because it was so warped out of shape (in this situation you just act like it was meant to look like that xD)

Yeah it was pretty challenging, but not quite as bad as it could have been, I think
And that title is brilliant, I had no idea what to call mine, so I went boring haha.
