Came here because someone mentioned the kiss with Pearl and Speedy.

At first when I started reading this comic I was shipping Pearl and Black (tho tbh I have an umbreon x espeon bias lol) but honestly more down the line of the comic, after seeing this and looking at Pearls backstory again, I think that ship should be in the dirt at this point.
Because someone also mentioned that Pearls uncle told her to find someone who would want to do anything for her and ofc Speedy has been filling that role, defending her, giving her income, etc but they’re just friends/unofficial siblings and there just hasn’t been many opportunities for Black to seem to want to even be around Pearl, which is completely valid as in the past she hurt him and continued to cross his boundaries.

I don’t really think Pearls and Blacks relationship can be fixed with a simple bandaid if they were ever to get together, I believe too much has happened for that and honestly, I wouldn’t like to see them together at this point but that’s my own opinion. It’d be nice for Pearl to apologise to Black properly in her own form because I don’t think he realised it was her when she was in Sylvia’s body, he deserves a good apology and the talk would just be really nice closure for her and maybe other readers who think about this too much like I do lmfao.

I’m still a Pearl fan though, she is my favourite due to her being kind, willing to look after others, useful and just good at organising to make sure everyone has a good time which is why I just want to see her with someone who cares about her as much as she cares for them. I think she deserves a healthy relationship with someone other than Black, Speed and Kai haha.
