I just felt like drawing some Nightcrawler as my warm up for today. Used my new pencil on it, and Bad Boy I, my tagger marker for the cloud behind him.Related content

Great work! I love the colors and composition very much.
The thin part of the question mark is the only thing that bugs me, though it's not much of a problem.
I like how the smoke is outline in a different color. Really separates it from him.

Yes it is! I just thought that having a little Hellfire drone would be a whimsical addition!
I'll think about that for the question mark next time, I see what you mean though, it might be just a bit too thin.

Um...wow? Really, I take that as a huge compliment! Thank you!! I'm using a .7 lead. I've always used either a col-erase pencil which I got annoyed with on sharpening, so I'd lose clarity in the sketching process. Or I'd use a .5, which was too small and would snap. But now I'm using .7 with some Japanese pencil leads, which holds up with my speed. So I'm getting more volume out of the shapes and general fluidity.
Thanks about the gradient too! I really don't like to over-render my pieces, I think that a well placed gradient with the right color combination...though simple in theory, is actually intricate enough to hold the viewer's attention and convey the proper emotions.

Thank you, I think I set the gradient to overlay, but I'm not sure, it went nicely with the toned flats I had on the layer beneath! I love doing the bamf clouds!
