Description
I really don't usually use proper HB pencils for comic stuff. But and his pencil sketches he colors up got me thinking. But on this I did the under drawing with some green Col-Erase, then went over it with HB and did a couple other things after I dropped out the col-erase layer. I think I retained a lot more of the dynamism I was going for that would have been lost in inking. If nothing else, I should maybe do this before inking.Related content

BTW.. I'm really learning a lot from your color compositions..
I even have your print on my wall.. Don't be surprised if you see some similar color choices in some of my new work!
riq.

Geez, well, I've been doing that for years with your colors as I started to develop my own color theory, so fair's fair! I'm flattered, thank you Tariq!

Thank you! I changed how I was holding the pencil, and I started to get more dynamic shapes as I was sketching!

The flat, hooked claws are back in town!
I love when people do him like that.

Some people hate that, I'm glad you are like me and enjoy those types of claws!

Damn skippy. John Romita Jr. Didn't always draw his claws like that, but I liked it best, when he did.
No, it's not realistic, but it makes them look like Arabian sabers and there's something too B.A. about that to pass up.

Nice, Evan. Love the sickly greens on Wolverine.
I never use those colour erase things. I always go straight in there with a H or an F pencil. I'm too lazy to fiddle, ha ha.
