Description
As someone who grew up in the 90's, how can you avoid Liefeld's creations? I felt the need to draw Cable a while back and wanted to show his arm going crazy. It was surprisingly a lot of fun drawing someone in so much pain like that.Related content

Like DocShaner already pointed out, the leaner structure you gave him really works fantastically, at least I personally love it. I think it makes him more balanced than the usual one, with gargantuan muscles. Awesome work once again!

He found a market and has nostalgia on his side. People grew up with him in the 90's when the biz was better and you could sell comics and make money.

I like that even though he's undeniably still a big guy, he's a bit leaner here. I almost think I like him better that way. And dig the way his eye is smoking!

Yeah, I wanted him to be a bit leaner in this picture. More of an in between, kind of like the actor Kevin Durand. There's no denying he's a big dude, but he's not hulk huge. It kind of makes more sense for the kind of fighting he does. I liked the eye as well. I used a flat brush to do dry brush for most of the bg. I liked how it came out.
