Looks like either 16 gauge 5/16in inner diameter, prob. galvanized steel, or 16 gauge 7/16in inner diameter.

I think you're right about the 5/16" diameter. It looks closer to 18 gauge to me though. Unless it is 7/16" and this is a rather large hand... lol

Just wondering, is there a particular reason you ran the rings that direction? I would have run them the other way, but maybe they're more flexible this way? I guess the pattern is more visible at least. Nice job.

I like it, I would have used smaller rings though, I dunno I just prefer smaller rings I guess. The metal feels more flowy the smaller the rings (and the more human-hand-greasy they are, until it starts to stink)

Nice job. That is preaty sweet and well made, but i would like to know more about the rings. You know how many rings you used and what the diameter of the rod you wraped it around is, provided that you used a rod. I would love to make one myself, but am busy making a shirt and would like to know if it could be a quick side project.

hmmmmmm......i dunno the exact diameter of the rod i use, but i used about 700 rings. A quick side project? it took me like, a day, working on and off.
