Aah, I'm so happy I got to draw Uncle Chuck! He's one of the coolest characters in the entire series, he really is. Also, SHARD. YES.Yeah, I'm fangirling over my own comic, whatchoo gonna do about it?
Fun fact: This is the first time I've actually drawn SONIC in the SONIC COMIC. Sigh...

Shard is the Metal Sonic who sacraficed himself to help Sonic and Tails escape from the erupting Mt Mobius volcano by holding back the lava in the Sonic Archie comic issue #87. The last panel is him having a flashback of when he helped Sonic and Tails escape before aperantly being killed off, until now.

Despite the many people who are complaining about the Secret Freedom Fighters arc in Universe d is friggin awesome and I'll phsyically fight anyone whosay's other wise. Ok not really but I'd argue.

I love Shard. The first time I read him I thought of Tucker from Red vs. Blue going "Great, now I have two of you!" He's a lot like the "old" Sonic. Sonic hasnt been very happy for a while.

I sometimes do inks, but this story was inked by the comic's regular inker Terry Austin. They don't do much with just pencils.

Very nice! Terry Austin is a legend when it comes to inking comics. That's quite the honor, I think. He's one of the guys I used to study before I got into comics. Very cool. Congratulations with all your success! I knew you'll be working in comics the moment I saw your work. Maybe one of these days, we'll work together or something.

I've reworked my penciling style to better fit his inks, actually. I really love what he's been able to do with them.

on a personal note, I love that they brought back the "original" Metal Sonic and gave him a 3.0 paint job (you can bet I'll be making a custom of that pretty soon)
