Yup, I pulled out all my old pages and sketchbooks and took a picture, just to see what happened. It was fun looking at the veeery first concept pictures for GOTF. (in the black sketchbook farthest to the right) I also found the title, "Ghosts of the Future", written in an old list of story title ideas I'd forgotten about. Huh. So I guess the name came first.It's a bit sad that my life's work for the last two years amounts to a mess in the rec room. but anyway... I'm almost to 100 pages!(not counting covers & extras; with them, I'm there) Awesome!

listen mate. if you filled THAT MUCH PAPER in only 2 years you are... well... devoted.
i had an art sketch book emphasis on the HAD and over 4 years of doing art i only filled half of it.
(although i did chew through 40 KG of clay. and just under 2KM of steel wire.)
i don't do art as a subject anymore. (thank the lord)

Hey Evan, just curious... What kinda format and stuff do you write your comic in, or do you just sketch it out? Is it like a story? -sees all the notebooks and paper- You has an orb by Silver lawl...
Randomly I'm just gonna say the underside of mah bed has papers... and let's just say... it looks like the paper factory wanted to play 1000 paper pick-up so dey threw all their paper under meh bed... in boxes...

Once you've got your characters and plot, it's a simple matter of writing out a page or two of script!

oh I got to write the script and after do the draw...but the it's the pages and the lines, I don't know how to do some like you do, or even like manga

Draw boxes on paper with ruler. Draw people inside boxes. Simple as that.

Thats quite a lot of work. If only i could put this much effort into my comics and stop procrastinating. And i love the silver dolls. Or plushes. Which ever.

Ok this is going to be a stupid question, but do you draw your comics than color on photoshop or do you draw on photshop and color.
LOL i don't really know how photshop works, just that a lot of people use it.

I know what you mean... I have a bookcase filled with rough drafts and story ideas for my novels. Character designs and things... one can only wish it doesn't take too long to work on projects and stories....

I'm amazed. That must of been a lot of work my friend. Because all I've got done with is at least 3 sketch books filled and half a math book filled with doodles. With my comic anyways...

Wow, it's nice to see that there is another person who has been working on a story for that long. The only thing is that my story is pretty much all written. I hope to one day be as good as you. Great work and I can't wait for more of GOTF

Mostly, I'm self-taught. But I learned how to ink from Walden Wong, an inker who works at DC and VIZ comics. I've taken drawing classes since I was around 8, but I taught myself to cartoon.
