That could be Anarchy Beryl back there, but somehow I doubt it otherwise Scourge would have snatched some so he could repaint his face.
Funny that Scourge says "let's go for round 3" on his own terms and then dumps them here. I get the feeling from his last words he doesn't intend to be back, but I could be wrong since he hates Sonic so much. But in that case, why bother going back to the mansion?

Well, maybe it's just me, but whenever a bad guy says "so long" he usually means "I'll never see you again thanks to my clever trap that you will never escape" rather than "I'll be back soon".

I think they'll take him down within the next two or three issues and then find a Chaos Emerald that will take them all home.

Maybe so, but I believe the next issue is more of a breather since they're kind of overdue for one. It'll be a chance for Shadow to come back to his senses and Blaze to tell what she knows, plus Metal can explain himself (...or at least try to). That's the way this is set up anyway.
Silver ought to be able to summon a warp ring to help them escape, but that would definitely be way too easy.

I wanna see if Shadow's back to normal or not! I wanna see what Scourge is up to! I wanna see how Metal Sonic turns out! I wanna see more of cute Silver and what his family will think of his secret life! I wanna see the origins behind Blaze and her powers! I wanna see what happened to Rouge, Omega, and our dear Chaotix! I WANNA SEE MORE!!!
Also, I agree with Okida on that one. Really enjoyed all the pun options they gave!
ALSO! I noticed this as soon as I saw Blaze land, believe it or not; Cats always land on their feet after all! Everyone had a suck-y fall but her, because she's a cat, and cats always land on their feet! I totally caught that! Yay me!
