Evan Stanley: To be fair the rightful rulers of Moebius are also douchebags. Or do you mean how he killed his dad?
Okida: Well he had to rise above the rabble by placing his father on the rack, thus elevating his rank. What a rascal he was. But perhaps he might see his actions were rash and that he reached too far. He failed to recognize the reality of the situation and be reasonable and now rebellion must have some reconciliation. Then perhaps he might have redemption.

Speaking of how Scourge killed his father - I will ALWAYS like how Sonic's dad told Scourge off (when he snuck in to get the drop on Sonic) and ended up sending him away IN shame.

LOL! You are such a comment-hawk! There's this anti-Silver out that's kind of popular (named Venice, go figure), but in general an Evil Opposite of the main character is pretty cliche. There's almost no imagination behind the idea anymore.
If you've been spying out my other comments, you'll know by now that my current theory of the evil boss's identity is that he's really Psycho Super Sonic from Fleetway. Makes sense to me, anyway.

Yeah, but I did point out it was pretty cliche. I doubt that's where she's going with this, though I can't help throwing the possibility out there. Can you imagine Silver and anti-Silver going at it? I'm not the screaming, ranting type, but I also have more emotional distance since my familiarity with the comic dates back to January of 2014. I wasn't invested in it for years the way so many others were, so I can accept the reboot more easily than most. It's still a huge disappointment to have the entire plot-line abandoned (in fact at first I thought it was some kind of annoying joke like the first genesis wave and that we'd eventually return to reality), but I can treat it a bit like a new spinoff and enjoy that way.

Um, I've been gone for a little while, so I'm just catching up, but... why does Scourge look like maybe it's that other part of Sonic underneath the green? Maybe I'm just being silly about this, but I have been gone a while. Also, Scourge must have mad translating skills if he can get entire sentences out of just "Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". With no apparent facial expressions or body language to assist him.

Maybe the 'Rrrrr's are pitched diffrently like on is 'RRRRRRRRRRRR'(sounding angry) and another is 'rrrrrrrr' (sounding upset)

Personally, I think that Scourge has a long way to go before really achieving any sort of redemption - and even so, Metal Sonic is already having a Character Redemption Arc. Could two characters going through the same journey, both of whom are based off of Sonic, still be executed in ways that don't make them become the same character? Maybe make one become good, while the other just becomes less of an antagonist? We can all agree that Scourge would fall into the latter, albeit his morals still butting heads with the rest of the group, even if he's making a valid point in an argument.
I also fear for Vennie if she ends up getting involved with him. He showed to be abusive towards Fiona, although Vennie might have more inner strength and a different childhood, so she could do better when Scourge starts throwing fits, like telling him to shut up and that he's not a King anymore. Even so, I'm hoping that their relationship, if they do have one now, doesn't end up as the cliched 'good girl tames bad boy'. I could definitely see 'sane girl telling immature brat to buck up.'
I am curious what happened to Scourge in this story. I have a feeling that it has something to do with Fiona, Dr. Z, and the Anarchy crystals. His design actually reminds me of Jacob Marley's ghost from A Christmas Carol, who was covered in chains from his life of Greed and Selfishness. Scourge led a similar life in regards to power and is now covered in the Anarchy crystals. There's also the fact that Marley had problems with his jaw, too. It's like he's been in purgatory and the only way he'll find happiness is eternal rest.
That's my take for this from reading past comments. You've improved beautifully.

You know, I would love to see Vinnie and Scourge together too in the sense of 'sane girl telling immature brat to buck up.' Though, that would be a bit weird to do if both of Silver's sisters become girlfriends to former enemies.
...actually, I take that back. That would be funny, and kinda cute too. Then Silver's whole family can be crazy together!!

Yes, thank you. I remember reading something about Harley Quinn and The Joker's relationship and how people romanticize them right before my last comment. When I saw other comments of people supporting a Vennie and Scourge pairing, I thought it wouldn't hurt to remind people on Scourge's and Fiona's relationship. Not saying that he and Fiona weren't good characters on their own, but neither of them should be seriously considered as lover material. I can't see Vinnie getting into a healthy relationship with him, but I could see her maybe helping him realise his choices in the past hurt him more than helped, but not in a hugs-and-kisses way.
Heh, considering that Silver knows little to nothing about Scourge or Metal Sonic, I think Sonic would feel more weird about them being on his side. well, Metal Sonic at least, he doesn't seem to know about Scourge. We are probably going to see more of that later on, I hope!
