Sorry, but in the GOTF timeline he passed on at the end of Sonic Adventure... GOTF Sonic has his job now. That whole situation will hopefully be explained in greater detail in future issues!

There's a lot of backstory stuff in the GOTF universe that is different from the games, but not addressed directly by the story until it becomes relevant.

PS: Good thinking on using Silver and Blaze's abilities like this. Truly genial ideas are always marveled at, but the useful ones have people saying "I could've though of that". So, pat on the back and clap and a half for each, you deserve it.

To quote Admiral Ackbar.... IT'S A TRAP!Β All they had to do was look for an air vent. These things always have them.
The edges of that new doorway look pretty... molten. I think it takes about 3 to 5 minutes for your average steel tools to cool down, so if they touch it without thinking, I'm expecting some major second-degree burns to result. Even someone with fire-powers can get burned.
Interesting distortion there with the telekinetic energy. I can't tell if the melted metal near that exclamation point just looks invisible or if the upper portion of the door was shifted upward due to the angle we're viewing from.
