well, depending how strong Silver's powers are here, he could theoretically move the molecules which compose the metal in a way to create a line of empty space in determined places, creating a line and cutting out a door without actually cutting. He would literally manipulate the matter to his wish.

I always liked the Brotherhood for being some of the most dangerous opponents of Sonic, to the point he needed to team up with Robotnik to take them out and when they removed Robotnik from time, they easily took over Mobius.
