Issue 5, page 2.Nothing special, just another page. And Sonic is fainting there, nobody hit him. I'm really bad at showing people fainting for some strange reason. And Shahra's appearance had changed again... mainly, her skin is darker now.
In the big panel with sonic, if you turn it on its side you can see I used the pose from that Sonic Unleashed picture... you know, the one where he's terrified.

Poor Sonic, it must kill him to see someone who looks so much like his friend. Wonder what Silver will think about this. And Shahra too, she has no clue about what he went through since she and Sonic last met.

Cool beginning for this issue. Poor sonic looks scared to death X3. I think you did the face quite well, though I belive the mouth was more triagular, but I could be mistaken, and it is artistic interpritation, its you work afterall

You know who Amy is, right? Well, she liked to pretty much stalk Sonic and sneak attack him via aggressive glomping. As a result, her amorous attentions have given Sonic a deep-set reflex to panic and/or run away whenever she shows up. Add to that the shock of not seeing her/knowing she was dead for about 200 years, and you've got a blue hedgie on the floor.
(He hasn't figured out that Morgianna is not Amy yet).

The thing is, he hasn't really figured out that Morgianna here isn't the Amy he knows. I think that pink hair in general probably sets off his reflex to panic... so once he calms down, he'll have plenty of time to be happy to see her.
And anyway, I'm thinking it will make more sense in a few more pages.
