I'm not sure, but the name "uhu" miiiight be the actual name of the sorceress of the black isle. I'm not sure. All I know is there character Sonic races against in the game in some missions is a "wind djinn named Uhu".

What? SHADOW is UHU?! I always assumed SONIC was Uhu! Uhu is blue in the game, and a wind genie! How many times has Sonic been described as ''of'' or ''like the wind?'' Multiple times. Ah well, the game never DID reveal Uhu's identity, so I'll just go with it. Where is this parrarel world's Sonic, anyway? Lemme guess, Alladin?

Yes, it is heavily implied that Uhu is supposed to be the Arabian Nights' Sonic. But when I wrote this, I followed a different logic when it came to who shows up in the world and why... this world isn't a normal parallel dimension. As it's based off of a work of fiction, it's sort of a "dependent dimension" that is connected to the worlds where the Arabian Nights are read and are part of the general consciousness. When someone from the "real world" enters the Arabian Nights, their personal experiences influence the way the dependent dimension appears to them. That's why when Sonic went to into the Arabian Nights, the characters in the world appeared in the forms of his closest friends and greatest enemies. The version of the Arabian Nights that Sonic and Silver visited is Sonic's version, shaped by his first visit. He is the only "Sonic" there, and within that world he must play the part of the Legendary Hedgehog... thus, why he appears alive, as that's how he was then he first appeared there.
So that's my excuse as to why a character who is blatantly supposed to be Sonic can be Shadow. Also, Shadow is cool. His coolness transcends all logic.
