Issue 8, Page 10.Oh no, not What's-Her-name! (It's Vennie, guys, Remember it.)
EDIT: took the mature content warning off.
I love the Metal's POV effects. They make everything I draw instantly awesome. Speaking of Metal, I'm just gonna warn y'all now that I kinda suck at drawing him. His appearence it gonna change a lot as I get used to drawing him, I'm sure. The same thing happened with Shahra and Shadow. Though it's unlikely that Metal is gonna be black by the end of this comic... still, never say never.

Let me guess, she's not dead, just got a good slugging that shatered her jaw and that's why we heard the Splorch and we all know that it must take a ton of force to make bones and such go 'Splorch' But this is metal Sonic we are talking about and braking bones is what he does.

I appologise in advance if this wasn't the effect you were going for, but Metal's eyes just made me laugh. They're just so... circular! It doesn't really fit the comic, in my opinion. Still, I CAN see the creepy factor, but it's still extremely out of place, especially on Metal Sonic's face.
By the way, the older sister (so sorry I can't remember her name) said "I can't wait to see its EYES..." or something to that effect. Was she referring to the Nicole-type-construct, or Metal Sonic?

Evan, I realise that as an utter nobody, I have little right to an opinion of this great work of art, but I thought you should know that I think you need to add some motion ribbon (or whatever they're called); your panels are rather static, which is fine for domestic scenes, but even some blurring effects go a long way to adding a feeling of movement (eg: GOTF 5 page 16/17) which I feel is needed to perfect this amazing project.

You're perfectly right-- I need to work on my action scenes, which includes the incorporation of things like speed lines. It just dosen't come naturally to me, sadly. I'll try to do better in the future.
Don't ever feel nervous or inferior like that-- because you're not. We're all here to have fun. You gave me some valuable constructive criticism which I plan to use to improve my work, and that's always awesome. I'm a firm believer in free speech, which I why I never hide stupid or hurtful comments directed towards myself, even though I hate 'em. Only people who have repeatedly proven themselves to be petty, insulting idiots earn my scorn, and you are definite not in that camp.
