Issue 8, Page 10.Oh no, not What's-Her-name! (It's Vennie, guys, Remember it.)

I love the Metal's POV effects. They make everything I draw instantly awesome. Speaking of Metal, I'm just gonna warn y'all now that I kinda suck at drawing him. His appearence it gonna change a lot as I get used to drawing him, I'm sure. The same thing happened with Shahra and Shadow. Though it's unlikely that Metal is gonna be black by the end of this comic... still, never say never.

How did you do the POV effect? And in what program?

I did it on Photoshop CS4 with a few different layers... first, an all white layer on Multiply with dark red Inner Glow FX, a layer on I think Soft light with the static and another one with the lines (made with the halftone filter, I think...) and a bright red layer on some sort of colorizing setting I don't remember.

Lol. Sounds like a lot! And cools. Shall have to mess around with that myself and get an effect of the same caliber lol. Trial and error I guess is the best way to figure things out lol. But awesome work none the less with your pages. Your effects are pretty sweet!

Read some of the comments about the eyes, I think that's a clever idea! Going to the OVA style...it certainly gave Metal a creepier attitude...one of those "this robot is doing bad things, but it has human emotions" sorts. Hope she's not dead! D:

I don't see how Sissy is going to fall for a robot that kills her sister . . . but what do I know. Her facial expressions are quite extreme here (especially in comparison to the creepy robot Sonic) really captures the horror.
Metal looks awkward, but at least he's scary too. I especially like his hand in the first panel. Great detail.
