Description
This is my idea for a Sonic game. (that's right, I'm lookin' at you, SEGA).It's meant to be in the "storybook" sub-series, like "Sonic and the Secret Rings", and "Sonic and the Black Knight", and this time Sonic gets sucked into the world of the Greek Myths.
Sonic is accompanied by Iris, (Shahra), Goddess of Rainbows and messenger to the higher Gods. She gives him the wings off of Hermes' sandals, giving him the power of flight to aid in his quest to collect the Seven Pestilences, which the foolish and greedy King Midas (Eggman) accidentally released from Pandora's Box.
How does Sonic collect the Pestilences? Well, each one has infected the hero of a different myth, putting those characters and their stories in grave danger.
I haven't figured out all the details, but I think Sonic will have to:
-Save Icarus (Tails) from falling to his death into the ocean, thus collecting the pestilence of Pride.
-Helping Hercules (Knuckles) finish his Twelve Labors, and collecting Sloth.
-Beating the crap out of Achilles (Shadow) and collecting Wrath. (A la Perfect Chaos)
I haven't thought of the rest yet. Rouge would probably be Lust, Vector'd be Greed, Amy-- Envy, (And Eggman Gluttony). I just can't think of the characters they'd play. ('cept Eggy).
Also, when Sonic recaptures a pestilence, it's corresponding Virtue is freed, fixing the Myth that has been damaged.

Aw man, these ideas are excellent, and I'd love to see it happen...
...but Sega's not smart enough to actually listen to what the fans have to say, for once. It's almost like they put their fingers in their ears and go "LA LA LA LA LA" at the top of their lungs while making a game...which would explain the glitches and everything; it's hard to type when your fingers are in your ears.
Maybe you can find a team to collaborate with and actually make a fan game based on these ideas. That might be your best bet for this games' fruition.

and the characters a spot on, however, I'd use blaze for Envy, just really fits her more (because we all know that Amy is really just an obsessed fan girl ) and I'd use eggman nega for the king

Hm, beating the crap outta another version of Shadow. That'd be quite amusing.
How about having some sort of quest to collect some artifact for Vector or something? (Ah, perfect timing--when my creative flow is blocked.)

Any ideas about who the characters could play, cool location/bosses...

For bosses you could use: The Hydra, The Chimera, maybe Cerberus, Hercules, definitely Achilles and maybe Typhon. Or even Athena (Blaze) who wants to test your strength and Amy (as the Queen of the Amazons) who catches Sonic trespassing into Amazon territory.
As for areas there is: Athens, maybe Sparta, Troy and definitely Mount Olympus.

I think it's just as good as the Black Knight game(which I think looks awesome) but what about Silver and Blaze would they be in it? Oh and maybe you can do something with Blaze's friend Marine the Raccoon. Remember her from Rush Adventure(2)...yeah, I guess Sega didn't either.

I dunno what to say, is completely clueness for me. I like a lot the greek mythology, but to put sonic as hero again and again.....why always sonic? Why no another character can get the spotlight for one time?
Or probably, is like the line "sonic is the savior, without him, the world is doomed"
