And just like that, another werehog form! It's Silver's turn.Yeah yeah, right after poo-pooing the fluffy fang-y werehog standard, and then I turn around and make a super-floofy one. I'm horrible like that.
I do have reason, though! Using the "were-form brings out repressed side" we see that Silver is usually a very timid, self-conscious guy. So his Were-form would make him vicious and impulsive. A predatory animal fits that well. And coupled with his near-constant toughts of blaze, it seems likely he might come out as a cat ( And I loooove snow leopard tails). You can see his powers were affected by his thoughts of Blaze, too.
That makes sense, right...?
Okay fine I just really like snow leopards and Silver as a cat would be hilariously awkward.

Wow, guess I was sorta right on the Mammal thing, a Snow Leopard somehow fits him very well, it did Tai-Lung some good and it actually sorta feels right, either that or a mix of a few various big cats but nothing like a Hyena. The effects are magnificent and the shading and design of it is bold new and tremendously fresh

That is a very sweet theory.
I just love how you have handled this; with that I'm thinking of how you have analyzed this character and given him these extra psychologic features that only makes his character even stronger. I am myself crazy about psychology and I find it very interesting analyzing personalities, so this is sweet candy to me.
I'm looking forward to see more to these guys. Since I'm already on the flow then allow me to say I think you're doing great on that comic of yours as well, I enjoy reading it as I find the story very interesting and unique. I'm happy it gets this much attention
Of course I like this new design for Silver as "werehog" as well; I find it very random but it is quite fascinating still. You're not the only one with a (snow) leopard "fetish" ;b I love thick puffy tails too, and the patterns are beautiful as well. Both in real life but also on the drawing.
Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to see more

Probably not. That's Sonic's signature were-power. Shadow's were-powers include climbing walls and poison/acid. I haven't worked out the particulars. Silver's normal powers have been augmented by limited pyrokinesis, which makes it possible for him to be more directly offensive in battle. He's also got some wicked bloodlust.

When Unleashed first came out I thought Sonic would be able to climb walls using his claws and the spikes on his shoes. I was constantly imagining a camera angle filming down a building while Sonic climbed up ala Gargoyles style. I was a tad disappointed when gameplay showed Sonic climbing walls via conviently placed poles. Nonetheless I love Unleashed and I still play it from time to time.
Also I love your choice of werepowers for Shadow and Silver.

Ah. So while in Shadow's case it just matched him, in Silver's it did the opposite and reversed his personality. Although I think he is quite angry inside and how much he's messed up at things.
But...Yeah. I can't blame you. He's so cuuuute. (I'm not the biggest fan of Silver, but I adore your version.)

Oh Shadow's got some reversal going on too (the problem with opposites is when you really look at a character, they almost always have a good bit of their opposite in them. Shadow is normally very tough and strong. Stoic. His were-form brings all his feelings of weakness to the surface, not only emotionally but also physically with that delicate amphibian skin. Quite a change for a guy usually covered in spines. As for Silver, he's a confused and stressed teenage boy. He's definitely got some aggression bottled up. So... I didn't explain Silver's transformation very well. It's less supposed to be opposite and more the repressed, unconscious side coming out. Very Freud. The character's powers DO become more or less opposite. Fast is slow, strong becomes weak (Shadow), weak becomes strong(Silver).

How interesting. Now I want to hug Shadow even more, but that wouldn't end well, methinks
So Shadow actually gets weaker in this form, while Silver becomes stronger. As for Sonic...Well, honestly, I think he could use a different form :/ Just not enough was done for the poor guy, but I see it fitting in with the powers. Silver got the biggest boost, Shadow got the shaft.
I love the idea, honestly. You never bore me when you explain, because it's very interesting <3
