Description
I've been wanting to do a Phoenix in cross stitch, but since I couldn't find a pattern I liked, I decided to paint my own phoenix and turn it into a pattern.

Its a project that Beasty and I are doing together, her cross stitch piece ties into her novel and mine ties into mine.
So yeah, somewhere in the para that I'm writing Phoenix's play a big part.

I've put this in the photomanipulation category, but in truth, there is next to nothing of the original photos left.
So this is more a mixed media image than anything else.
Most, almost all, of this phoenix was painted in photoshop.
