I'm not sure if this should be in scraps or not. I didn't work very hard on it, and it's about the size of my thumb. ahh, oh well.

You know actually, I don't usually ship this pairing either. xD ~MelancholyChamomile is getting me into it slowly, and I have to say, they can look good together when done right.
And they're super fun to draw. Interracial couples are so wonderful with ink.

Tucker is just such a dork and so absorbed in his tech (not to mention the incessently BAD pickup lines), it's hard to imagine him being romantic, lol. And he usually irritates the hell out of Sam, so I never really understood where people saw the chemistry for the pairing (except that one accidental kiss in Life Lessons).
That is one thing I really love about DP, though - there's a constant flux of interracial friendships and romances, and sometimes they completely flip racial sterotypes on their heads (like the black guy being the tech geek and the asian guy being the jock), but no one makes a big deal out of it. It's not like they're shouting, "Look! We're being so progressive!" It's just taken as *normal*, which is how it should be. More TV shows and stories should be like that.

I don't know how much I like this pairing. I like it more that DannyxSam. But I feel like they might just be an afterthought to my VladxDanny sometimes. So I pair them up with more than just each other.
..I have to say though, they have got some chemistry there. It's pretty sexy.

yeah, is not my otp but yeap...i think is the main reason why i like them together too: cuz i love pompous pep X,D ... but maybe the second reason is that i like how Tuck and Sam look as a pairing (that episode when they must take care of a "baby-bag" was great XD)

I think this pairing has most definitely grown on me. I, to be honest, didn't think of it at first because I'm usually good with whatever the canon gives me (I tend not to challenge the canon a lot, at least, not until recently). But the more I see it, the more I like it (and to be honest, I like to have multiple pairings for each character (I don't really have a lot of OTPs), so I guess I tend to, for lack of a better term, whore the characters out. XDDD).
The names for these pairings leave me laughing all the time. When I first came back to the fandom in January (I had fallen out of it for awhile after it ended and drabbled in it every so often when I wanted to reminisce), I had just started reading fan fictions. So when I came across some fictions that had the words "Veggie Burger" or "Techno Smarts" I was like "Wha?" I eventually figured it out when I finally googled it and found it in the urban dictionary.
And don't scrap this! It's too awesomely good to be scrapped!

I never used to question canon either, it was less of me loving canon and more of me just not having an opinion on the matter. Then somehow I just started to notice other pairings. First with HxH, then Avatar (this was a crucial one for me, in how I thought of pairings, I just never felt the spark between Aang and Katara but I seriously try to stay out of the shipping wars, not worth it), Zelda, then DP when I went back to it. I was quite the DxS fan back in the day. |D
I don't actually know very many of the pairing names aside from pompous pep. I lul'd at veggie burger because Melancholy told it to me when I was submitting this

Actually, my first diversion from canon pairings was with Avatar. XD (Though if HxH is Harry x Hermione (I have trouble with pairing names) I thought that was going to be canon actually. HxR was..well....unexpected. But then I'm bad at reading through the lines when I first devour a book)
I felt like the creators were forcing things with the Kataang ordeal (I don't know any twelve year olds that seriously in love but I won't go much farther than that).
With Zelda, I jumped around with pairings. I was die hard Link x Zelda until Midna came around (and then I explored other pairings as well).
My DP pairing flexibility comes from all the previous actually. XD I was a big fan of D x S when it first came around, but I've grown to see other pairings too (I'm not a combative and unadaptable pairing lover, I like to keep out of shipping wars as well and see things in a new and interesting light. XD).

Ummmph, I don't read between the lines when I'm reading a book for the first time either. I didn't see HxR until someone shoved it in my face, then I started liking it because it made more sense. (Now I reaally like lunaxharry, because I just love luna so much, and they had a lot in common in that one book. and DracoxHarry because they have history and so much chemistry). However, that being said I was referring to the anime HunterxHunter, sorry I should've specified that, not many people know it XD;
I read somewhere that Zuko was made as a pair for Katara originally, which is why they look so good together. For the childrens cartoon though, I understand why they made it Kataang. It's good to keep the children innocent, Katara running off with Zuko in canon would've just been bad. However, that's what fandoms are for, and I'm pretty happy with that fandom. It's very satisfying.
I was a die hard LinkxZelda until I got into slash, and realized how awesome Shiek is. Now LinkxShiek like one of my only OTPs (I even cosplayed it with my boyfriend at the time). Even though there's just all kinds of flaws to the logic, I like it anyway BD

If you go for the "opposites attract" thing, they totally have chemistry (not just sayin' it 'cause I love Tuck either). And in my head it's a really refreshing switch from "hero gets the girl and sidekick is funny but not dating material." That's one of the cliches that really bugs me. Some sidekicks are freakin' ADORABLE - Tuck being one of them - but...they just get so cut out of the action...not cool.
And I have a thing for interracial pairings, I think. No, scratch that, I know. I definitely do. I think a healthy mix of skin tones and/or facial features/ethnicities is really sexy. :3 Plus you end up with gorgeous children. Just sayin'.
Oh, and the picture - don't scrap it! You may not have spent as much time on it as you usually do, but it's still among the best quality Tuck/Sam there is out there. Love their expressions, Sam's especially, but both of them - very soft and tender.

Ha, they are pretty much exact opposites, and I do like that. Lots'a sparks flying around there. Urg, I dislike stereotypes like that, I never thought that Sam and Danny would be anything more that high school sweethearts. They'd end up growing up and growing out of each other because Danny's got no backbone when it comes to her. Tucker on the other hand, is a just overflowing with challenging her, and she's the type to like a challenge.
I also like interracial pairings, you just don't see them enough. I'm always surprised when I see one, and I really don't feel like I should be surprised. (damn society and your asshat stereotypes)
