Contesor is for 's contest. She gave a description of the character and left it up to us to design to our heart's content! I had a LOAD of fun with this guy! Here is her description:

"Contesor is a deadly creature of darkness and destruction, bringing blackness, hate, fear, and anguish to the worlds he touches. his black color is basic, but feel free to add in anything in it, like lacing red strands (VEins?! maybe ) he is not any kind of normal creature, no anatomy defines him. he ravages the realms, searching for any kind of light to feed off of. that's the irony-
he is a creature of dark, but to spread that evil cold inside of him, he has to first devour the light. so basically his life support is light, because he eats it."

Fun stuff about my design:

Yeah that IS a smilodon skull on his head. I don't have a good explanation for that except I LOVE smilodons and wanted to impliment their wicked cool skull. Also by having it fixed to his head by his horns his eyes are covered, giving him that wild bucking crazed and blind feeling.

His front paws are half rotten, with a fairly simple (and yes, not entirely anitomically correct but simple to draw) joint bones exposed. The toes are a hybrid I have been toying with of clawed paws and cloped hooves, I am very proud of this result.

His rib cage is also exposed, and in it's center you can make out his black pulsating heart from which not light escapes.

His underbelly to tail tip are almost insectile, ending in a stinger.

His body overall is basically worg, or demon wolf.

I know he seems like a mish mash of real/fantastically existing creatures but I really put thought into him, I thought what scares ME? This was the result, straight from several sketch hours of imagination. I really hope you like him Southy!

I was very tempted to give him similar colors to my demon horse Lazarus, as is apparent by his lolling reptilian tongue, I tried to control myself hehe. Also yes I DID attempt chrome on the horns, exposed bones, and underside, I know it could look better but I'm pretty happy with the result.
