I don't always make comics based on an episode, but when I do it's (almost) one year old.I have no idea why the this comic, the shortest comic I've made so far, is the one that's taken the longest, it's been over one month since I released the Luna comic.
(It's totally not at all because of the awesome, newly released games.)
Yay for Rainbow Dash's first time in a starring/speaking role in one of my comics.
In case you didn't notice, in the first panel I have Rainbow Dash and Derpy decorating the town, my reason for doing this is based on the opening scene of The Last Round-up. I don't know if Derpy was supposed to be helping Rainbow Dash decorate in that scene, but I found the whole idea of Rainbow Dash being stuck with Derpy as the town's "Event Decorators" to be an incredibly wonderful idea, with a LOT of potential for comedy.
This will likelly be the last comic I release this year, so for all of the visitors who aren't watchers of mine, and are just passing through, and will not see the future messages of mine, wishing cheer for all,

i love thi alot...but i dont under stand why whould evey pony look alike. you'll get mixed up. and they can't have the smae cutie mark. thaey can't have the same destiny! thogh i love it i wish it made more sence! im sorry if im being mean. i whould also like more if you'd add more to it. i hope im not being mean. im runnig out of things to say i have to say one more thing though. i love your artwork. and i will whatch you! i hope you think this is fair!

i love this idea so much, i don't think i would get tired of it until like the entire community of pony art on DA was dominated, and i don't think it will be.
i've never seen a comic with this kind of plot before, so i guess it would be original. even if i'd seen it before, i think i'd like this one either way. ^_^
i think this art looks great, though the background is a bit to vibrant and i almost couldn't see derpy at first. try making the background duller so the characters stand out more. in the second scene, twi's face, tail, and back legs could use some work,, but i wouldn't have done any better. everything else looks just epic though! ^_^
i already know that a lot of background ponies are repeated, but this comic makes it not so much a fact, but something funny. everytime i see a repeated background pony i'll be like, TEEHEE! this reminds of a comic i read...

Yeah, I think that the production team only have the one adult mare body base and they just play around with colours and mane-styles. In many ways Ms Harshwhinny's different facial shape is something of a departure for them.
