Description
An interpretation of Endling's character Rain for the Competition, doing battle with some Blood Leeches.Sorry this was so late coming. Didnt get to clean up as much as I had hoped. Hope this is alright anyhow.
Didnt get to refine Rain enough, I may do a character study sketch (if it is alright) to define it more.
Anatomy needs work and chains....Needs more chains.... A possibly a focal point *laughs*

Nice pic Josh,
Now you have your head around the whole reverse painting thing from Painter compared with OpenCanvas.
Just a little hard to make out the humanoid character, only after zooming in did I recognise it. But that could just be me. The colours are working very nicely together.
Oh and who is on who's team? The human is caning a leech, but I don't know what the big ugly in the back is about to do? Is the knee armour on the humanoid a leech jawbone?

Still getting used to Painter brush system and mixing... image is still a little rough because I ran out of time to clean up. As Ive said before - the depth is a little lacking and definition. *sighs*
The two blood leech are fighting the girl who is controlled by a the large demonic parasitical suit of armour. The girl, who's name is Rain, is a character of =Endling 's. I took a little artisitic license in my interpretation so that shards of armour begin to grow from her skin instead of just as apparel.

Poor blood leeches and their inevitable demise. There are not even any larvae present (so they do not really stand a chance)..

nah, i dunno.. u dont see ur own improvement as much as i do... i havent seen ur work in awile mate and the next piece i see (this one) looks a hell of a lot more professional and refined than previous work

*laughs* I fear you set quite the benchmark for a interpretation of Rain with 'Most Faithful Mirror'. I remember seeing it and being...welll... "Nooooooooooooo!!!!!" describes the feeling quite well in a pseudo OMG iamnowanevilsithlordwhokilledtheonlyoneh ecaredabout kind of way... (hope you understood that)
Too many issues to tweak here and there in the picture, but I made the deadline and it is a shiny, detailed and horrible as I could hope for.
