Okay, that makes more sense now! Thanks!
(I also believe you were about to tell me if it was possible to pass on mantra or not?)
BY ALL MEANS CONTINUE! I'M NOW INVESTED IN THE LIFE OF THESE CHARACTERS!!!

Alright, we continue. Asura finds himself in the middle of the shrine and spots the girl, who is not very afraid of him. He can't talk with her, since languages tend to change after 12.500 years. Yet he quickly befriends the girl. He proceeds to follow her to her village, which was under attack by Gohma and then is attacked by soldiers of the Seven Deities. The villagers seemed to worshiup him as a god before the enemy forces arrived, which made Asura feel awkward since he never felt above the ordinary people. He managed to save some villagers and the girl and then he proceeds to obliterate an entire fleet of combat spacecraft, led by Kalrow, the lazy one. Asura quckly desrtoys the fleet and cuts a swath through the ranks of countless soldiers. Kalrow tries to escape in a pod, but Asura catches it as it enters the atmosphere and crushes it with Kalrow inside. He falls back to the Earth and is knocked unconsious, but very much alive. Augus, his old master and bearer of Greed finds Asura, takes him to his home (with a hot spring), heals his wounds and treats him to a drink. Which is served by REALLY sexy maids. He explains that he could care less about Deus and his plans, calls both Wyzen and Kalrow weak for being too dependent on Mantra instead of pure fighting skill and tells Asura that he healed him because he wans to have the greatest fight of his life. In the end, he doesn't give a damn about death, destruction or war and peace. All he cares for is fighting. "The only reason to fight is the fight itself! You fight, then eat good food! You fight, then you drink fine wine! You fight, then sleep with beautiful women! Hell, fight WITH beautiful women! THAT is what it means to live!"

(Honestly, Deus' name makes me think of a bad word every time I see it.) I am uncertain what the "REALLY" in your sentence ment.....Anyway, what about the crater? If Asura fell from that high? *imitates boom*
That guy Augus has got it SO twisted. I would just LOVE to hear Asurayanswer to that!!
Didn't Kalrow grow super fat and try to squash Asura with his thumb? Or was that some other guy? And didn't his master kill his wife?? Or was that some other Mantra user?

We're confused it seems. The fat guy was Wyzen. The one that killed Asura's wife was another demigod turned Deity called Sergei. And Deus is Latin for "God", for your information.

Thanks so much clearing that up! Are demigods people who have exceptionallyΒ strong Mantra? Or are they candidates for becoming the next avatars? These people know their Latin! Are any other names meaningful in it? 'Cause comic people sure do! On a whim, I searched the meanings of all the Bat-family's names. I can't remember all of them right now, but I know Dick Grayson's last name wasΒ son of the Bailiff!! If you new what thatΒ meant when you first meant the character, you would have known what would eventuallyΒ happen! Ah, clever, clever people!

I do know a little about the Punisher, I think his family was killed and all this horrible stuff happened to him. But I kinda have to say, my mom and I don't really like him because he's so violent. (yes, I know DC has Bane and others.) But I think what makes me turn against him is the fact that he thinks he's on the good side just because kills people who kill other people. Don't soldiers do same thing? But they have to. So what makes the Punisher think he can do that? And it must have been really intense for you grow chest hair. Or is that in secret wars? You weren't clear. (though magic bazookas are pretty intense....)

oODark-DawnOo In reply to SilasShrike [2016-01-03 10:53:32 +0000 UTC]
That scene happened in Secret Wars and it was intense!
As for Punisher, he knows he's not doing any good. He just doesn't care. In his own words: "Frank Castle is dead. He died with his family. But his body hasn't proccessed that message and keeps twitching. So who knows what will happen as the body twitches." Besides, he's made sure that he'd be the only killer vigilante in New York. He's made sure that people like Daredevil and Spider-Man are safe and won't become murderers like him. It's his burden to bare. Besides, seeing goody-two-shoes just capture monsters beyond redemtion instead of just killing them has made the readers a bit fed up, so seeing the Punisher do what he does best feels so... cathartic.

I am in shock. I would have NEVER expected someone could be so EVIL!! Your Red Skull definitely wins for being the worst of the worst!! When did he get his comeuppance? PLEASE TELL ME GOT WHAT HE DESERVES!!

Red Skull received two seperate punishments, courtesy of one Master of Magnetism. Remember Magneto? Guy survived Auschwitz, but not his family? Yeah... he's not one to tolerate Nazis. ESPECIALLY Red Skull. The first time, he trapped him in a makeshift cell, with no light or food, just enough water for him to starve to death. But he escaped. The second time, Magneto was so extremely, completely, earth-shatteringly PISSED that he killed him with his bare hands. No magnetism involved, just fists and rage. Unfortunately, the bastard switched brains and survived. He's still on the loose, planning his next move.
And I've seen worse. MUCH worse. From the franchise of Warhammer 40k. Heard of it? Want me to tell you some scary things about it? It's pretty damn horrifying, but cool. In a twisted way.

I have to admit to never having heard of Warhammer 40K. Is it something I should fear?? And I guess you may....... GO MAGNETO!! And how did Red Skull switch minds? I have seen Ra's do it, but how did Red Skull do it?

I have friend who LOVES Jason Todd as a psycho crazy person, but I beg to differ. When he was totally nuts, they weren't giving him his due! I can understand him going off the hook and everything, so I also understand why they had him lose his memories. I think was a rather good idea if they hadn't messed it up. Have him lose his memories in Pre-New 52 when they all hate him so he can come back then! MUCH better than having them "make up" (as in Jason and the Batfamily.) then taking his memories away. Where's the fun it that?! But about the Outlaws, they do make an effective team, and I suppose it was good for Jason to have people say, "We need you over here.", every once in a while without hearing whispers behind his back about wether Bruce trusts him or not.

Starfire, right? When I first saw her in the Teen Titans TV cartoon, I really honestly liked her! Then I saw her and how she acted in comics, and Iustr admit I was little let down.

Well, in Marv Wolfman's New Teen Titans she was very much like the cartoon, just a bit flirtier. It was later runs by Devin Grayson that ruined her character.
In the cartoon, while naive, she is The Heart of the team. She's on good terms with everyone and is very much adaptable. Yes, she has troubles with Earth customs, but she's never made the same question twice. She learns. And I've noticed she's several intellectual levels above the rest of the Titans. An optimistic, thoughtful and very caring person, she was my second favourite of the team, with Robin as number 1.

SilasShrike In reply to oODark-DawnOo [2015-12-31 19:45:53 +0000 UTC]
I agree. She was always patient, and really let loose when she felt she hade to. She also has a very strong sense of duty, as seen in that episode where she must return to her home world to marry that alien thing, though I forgot what the episode is called.
Something else I really liked about that cartoon was the fact that Batman never showed up. They never even said his name! Though he was "mentioned" several times, just small hints. Another thing, they didn't focus on one team member, the show was about the Teen Titans, so they always made sure to never obsess about any single person. The episode might have had a leading character, but they almost always included others.

Yep. That made it a unique series. Too bad that today's comicbooks and TV shows can't do anything right without fapping to the almighty Bat-cashcow.

And one other thing. Would you mind not swearing so brutally? I am perfectly aware of the irony considering the message I just sent you, but I used Shakespear, and it's more funny than offensive. (Maybe.)

I used to be SO happy when anybody mentioned the Batman! Then it's like the WORLD felt exactly the same way! Pretty soon I couldn't look over my shoulder without seeing him on a T-Shirt or a pair of shoes! i just got worse from there. Every TV show and Cartoon had to have a mention of the almighty Batman or else it would be a total screen fail. So in other words, yes. I agree with you.
