Butterfly garland, light and wind. Obviously I was not aiming for realism. I'm going through a really rough time right now, so the next few photo sessions will likely have an escapist, fantastical theme.Related content

They spin then die
With orange wings
Touching finger tips
Soft caresses over exposed skin
Black veins you see
Colorful even to me
The golden ball that shines
Bringing warmth and life
Giving the earth rich sunlight
A young lad stands alone
Born from love or foes forbidden romance
Flesh bare to the world
As he stands in the midst
Of these butterflies beautiful dances
He waits there alone
Looking for one who'd join his dance
The dance of these magical
Orange butterflies
With wings that lightly touch his sides

Btw, did you color the butterflies in an image editing software? The composition is fine but as per me, the b.flies look a lil overdone colorwise

I've been "watching" you since we were both still new to dA 6 years ago, and I've seen your technique and style evolve but you've always had a very strong vision and a clear, consistent, unique aesthetic that continues to impress me. All of the ideas are my own, but I couldn't realize any of my visions without Timmy. He is the most cooperative thirteen year old ever.

Agreed, my only secret to children photography is capturing them in the act rather than creating it. I am more of a candid photographer, a capturer of the moment. However your style is full of fantasy and eclectic magic. Keep on doing that thing you do.
