Just a simple BFA in Painting at a lowly midwest college, but the school emphasized painting from the figure.Β After graduation I began painting for a gallery and got a lot of real world experience working full time at painting.Β Β Thanks for the comments!

Your paintings are really amazing. I love how you paint the light and shadows. Do you use live models or reference images. What is your painting process like?

I take numerous photos from the model and then pour over them, select the best bits from each photo, put them together and then use that stitched image as my source material. Regarding the painting process, I've included a methodology in my galleries.
