A lot of times I've wished that the Lord would appear to me like that.

I wouldn't mind if He knocked me flat, it would be worth it to see Him.

GOD bless

Lovely interpretation there, dude! I enjoy the picture's focus on a central point, and the overall emotion is just about perfect. I'm no painting expert, so I can't really provide better critiques than that, but all I can say is that I like it, and God is glorified through this.

Astounding concept and breathtaking imagery, I am stunned by this powerful image, the perfect anatomy but mainly your interpretation of this cherished moment.

Basically straight out of Caravaggio's own heart. I love. I was deep into Caravaggio in college both in art history and in drawing and painting classes. I did my own "The Taking of Christ" and gave it to my mother during my 2nd semester at TTU back in '04. Sigh. Memories. Thank you for this.

Magnificent! I have just discovered your gallery and it is a wonderful one! Your skills are near to perfection and your strokes are clean, clear and powerful. Your style looks somewhat like a cross of baroque painters like Caravaggion and modern artists like Hopper, and something reminds me the strokes and manners of DalΓ. So I just can tell you that you're a so magnificent artist, and as I understand the sheer amount of work a oil painture needs, I must thank you for creating such wonderful artworks, with such and intesity, emotion and passion. Your compositions are clear with well defined perspectives and diagonals, superbly chosen, like this one. I have seen on person the "Conversion of Saint Paul" by Caravaggio on Santa MarΓa del Popolo so Imust say yours is a worthy modern adaptation of the Bible event.

Magnificent! Impresive!

I cannot help feeling that this looks like he had been blinded by the full beam headlights of an oncoming car, but that would tend to give a secular interpretation of events, rather than the sacred interpretation intended in the biblical narrative of Paul on the road to Damascus. Regardless of the intention, this is a superbly drawn and provoking painting.

This touches my soul through my eyes. Wonderful light and dark use. Powerful and dramatic! Thank you for sharing your art as well as talking about your process and thoughts! I usually have to ask others the same basic info questions because I am also intrigued with the process and the techniques. Lori L

Very well done. It's easy to picture the chaos of modern life going on around this scene...and somehow missing the enormity of the moment you've captured here.

A very well done piece, especially in the reflections. The modernization of the Biblical account is also well done, though without the title I would have trouble figuring out what was going on.

Considering that also featured today was a work that is borderline sacreligious (the "Virgin Mary Barbie" tattoo), it's safe to say the answer is no.
