Finally...we near the apex of Holly's reference sheet. To celebrate an unexpected event as an artist with Ink artists...one of which I'm heavily grateful for...I am canonizing aspects of the art from the lovely Hollyhock Featured Inkdrian piece by ToxicBaka to her. So...what is new about Hollyhock's fully adult state that her bloomed glow up to her teens didn't provide, exactly? Well...quite a few things.

Let's start with a basic power control breakdown. If baby/child Holly was where her powers over death where at there most unstable, and Teen Hollyhock when when she finally claimed full control...Adult Hollyhock is the apex of her abilities. She now only grows stronger with age. At least until she hits 40 years old, the age where her powers peak. While she'll stay this strong for years onwards, eventually Azrael will have to be returned to its resting place on Obidon to await a new wielder of Holly' choosing. The reason for this is that Holly's abilities over feath gradually go away by a certain age so that Azrael can prepare a new power to protect for its next user. By the time that day comes, Holly would already be prepared enough to not need the sword or its powers anymore; Holly's tasks as a part of Obidon would truly be finished, leaving her to finally be fully invested in life on the planet that Hollyhock and her family call home in Mobius.

In terms of appearance, Holly's beauty as a fully grown adult becomes jawdropping to her peers. Some Inks even go as far as exaggeration by putting it on a pedestal with the likes of many goddesses, most likely in an attempt to flirt with Holly. A common gesture as a fully grown adult that Holly appreciates, but ultimately always turns down...unsure what kind of love life she even wants to consider yet.

Her Melanokinesis begins to become more masterful and necessary at this point of her life given Azrael needs to eventually be returned. While Holly has gained a boatload of new defensive and offensive techniques for this fated day, as well as finally mastered all its mandatory uses for her personal survival...one old habit refuses to die, even after all this time; Hollyhock still finds herself puddling between couch cushions when she decides to sleep. Perhaps Hollyhock eventually decided it was more comfortable than a bed to her personally, strange as sleeping in such a cramped spot still is to all around her.

Lastly, her taste buds. Hollyhock's taste in food is a both a highly refined palette, yet also still maintains that same highly acquired taste she's had her whole life. She now thoroughly enjoys proper meals and the death meals Isabelle is infamous for. Holly has even learned how to make both kinds of cuisine for herself this late into her life, carrying on a family tradition of proper meals. As well as meals with...questionable edibility.
