Description
I was toying with the idea of Astrotrain (yeah, that's the mech who was facing Megatron and Starscream) kidnapping Starscream to extortionate Megatron into surrendering his leadership over the Decepticons to him...which of course didn't sit well at all with the tyrant, who came to Starscream's rescue immediately. Partly inspired by the episode Triple Takeover; more precisely, by Astrotrain's stupidly ambitious plan in that episode.Comments and constructive critiques are welcomed

This would look like something he'll do if given the chance (blame Triple Takeover episode for the idea). Yes, after being captured and tortured, it's going to be hard to Starscream for a while.

It's a good thing actually, to get to see the Decepticons getting the spotlight on them once in a while. I have no complaints with the Autobots, but it's nice to see the Decepticons in action, once in a while.

I agree. I liked the Insecticon episodes, because I find they have a subculture that is fascinating. Like how they worship storms :U but that's my scientist brain having a spasm over the Insecticons.

Yessssss, those Insecticons intrigue me when they first appear, and then, suddenly, I just go 'hey, they're kinda cool!' and then I started noticing that little stuffs about them. I wanna my brain to have those two sides at the same time too, but my blood isn't enough to fuel them. So only one stays.

Cool! Yep, all the characters are precious because they have their own unique personality and background - too bad the cartoons are just too lazy to expand on this aspect.

But for the episodes they did expand on pasts. Omega Supreme, Starscream, and Optimus they were good. I think would they had not had the move the way it was they would have had more time to expand on the characters. I don't know if it's just me, but the seasons after the show seemed half-assed in all accounts. Animation, voice acting, plot... sure we have some good episodes and those were the ones that had characters we all know and loved in them. But again, just me, I barely watched those seasons because none of my favorites were even there. All killed in that damn movie ;_;
But what I am hoping for is that new show coming out to be good. They have 26 episodes on their first season already signed up. The opener is going to be 5 parts! With a much smaller cast than G1 hopefully they will be able to dig into the pasts.
But then again, they say there will be more human drama than before. Until it shows I'm just going to keep hoping it will be good...

Several awesome points on this.
1) Background. Awesome use of it with the wall, pipes on the ceiling. Cracks as well. I love backgrounds, even simple ones cause its something I'm always improving.
2) as always wonderful shading.
3) Terrific detail on Astrotrain. And I do mean detail in his back and wing.
The picture carries the (untold) story well with the wounded Starscream and angry Megatron with the cowering Astrotrain.

Aw man! I would not want to be Astrotrain here! Not with Megatron coming at me like that! Look at Megatron's face! you did a really good job at portraying just how pissed he is! this is a busy picture and I like that, this is the most I have seen in a picture from you, not that it makes your other pics any less grand but I really like this one in particular because it has a back ground and more than just two characters. I would seriously love to see you draw more (of the others besides Megatron and Starscream) like the Autobot's! I bet you'd draw Optimus kick assly! ! Soundwave, which I don't recall ever seeing you draw, looks AWESOME!! and kinda sexy the way he is standing. Actually, now that I think about it, I would be gnashing my teeth at Megatron and Soundwave if he ever approached me like that! I'd be like "bring it on big boy!" LOL! and Poor Starscream! I am gonna kick Astrotrain's aft for hurting him! However, it wasn't just Astrotrain it was Blitzwing too wasn't it?

Yep, it's always a bad idea to hurt Starscream...now that he had Megatron as his, er, back-up. Pfft, you don't know just how many times I've sketched Megatron's face to get it right. I've experimented with clenched dentas, it looked good enough, but I wanna make it look like he's shouting "You!!!!!!" to Astrotrain. Problem is, open mouth is much harder for me to show anger. This had to have background because it's more of an action pic rather than fluffy arts I've done before. It's hard, and I'm not very satisfied with it, but it'll do for now. I WANT to draw the Autobots...only that, for some reason, they're much harder to draw than the Decepticons, though I think I pull a decent enough Ratchet. And Skyfire is still a challenge for me, especially his faceplates. And I absolutely cannot draw Optimus even with a refence sheet to help me and I don't know why. It's not exactly my 1st time drawing Soundwave, I've sketched him a few times before (in my textbooks XD) but it's my 1st attempt at seriously drawing him. Thank goodness he appears better than I have imagined!
I was having a really dark imagination about this art actually; Starscream wasn't just getting captured and tortured, he was *coughrapedcough* too, which was the thing that REALLY set Megatron off (I want to add energon blood at his thighs and on the floor, but I kinda forgot oops!). After being rescued and repaired, Starscream developed a trauma - he was afraid of being touched again, even by Megatron.
Yeah, in that episode Blitzwing was in there too, but between them I think Astrotrain is more reckless and more likely to do something like this. Blitzwing would have known that he'll be slagged for sure if he ever touch Starscream.

at least it was you in the picture that hurt him. LOL, that would have sucked because Megatron would have smashed you. Then again, Astrotrain would probably throw you between them anyways if the idea of artist being involved with the picture could extend the the subject pointing at the fan girl with the pencil and say "Its her fault, she made me do it!"... then it would really suck for you. I am sure you can do the "you" mouth fine! Megatron looks like he is resorting to the standby of growling his frustration instead, which fits him too. I don't think I have seen you draw Ratchet. Have you?? Is it in your gallery? I don't see it. Oh you do a wonderful job with Skyfire actually. Both drawing him and writing him. and because you do these things so well I always say to my sister "She's added another chapter of her story for me!" I know its not "for me" per-say... but I like to think that way! and every time you draw a picture, I look at it as if you are giving me a gift even though it is not directed at me, just because I view your art and writing as gift giving cuz it is always soooo wonderful!
I kind of, even without the evidence of energon shed, thought he was either beaten really bad or raped. He looks totally messed up there. 
Actually, I think, after Prime died and Fuckhead(sorry)Rodimus took over, I think Blitzwing, or this is what I am getting from it, that he either left the Decepticon's or he turned neutral. He actually helped stupid Rodimus in one episode because he didn't agree with what Galvatron was doing. I can't remember the exact details I only saw that once, but if my memory ain't too crumby... that is exactly what I saw, so I agree... Astrotrain seems more like the mech that would be fool hearty like this.

Now that's kinda scary. Chance is, if Astrotrain can point his finger at me, then Megatron too an jump out of the paper with his Fucsion Cannon pointing straight at my face...well, maybe not, he'll just stomp on me and I'll be finished *shudder*. Thanks for your comment on the 'you' mouth, though I don't know whether I can draw it again if I want to do another art. I hope I can. Well, he's sort of standing by, he'll just let Soundwave do the capturing stuff while he tended to Starscream (why else would he brought Soundwave with him???). I haven't officially do any Ratchet stuff yet, just sketches, but note this - by decent i mean recognizable, which means yours are waaaaayyyyy better than mine. Well, I don't know why, but lately my Skyfire didn't turn out well. Always there's something wrong with him - I'm very frustrated and angry with myself. Truthfully, I kinda dedicate my arts and NLM stories to you now even though I didn't say it because I really appreciate everything you've given/done/said to me!
In my mind Screamer ended up much worse than this - Astrotrain had actually videotaped himself raping Starscream and sent it to Megatron, going as far as dismantling his arms and pedes to disable him from escaping. Of course, that's just too gory, and anyway I don't have enough space left to draw so much details, so I settle down with scratches and chipped armours. Yep, he's wrining his fingers, and you can also say that he's trying to curl in himself.
Er, I don't remember that scene at all. What episode is that? No need to sorry, I would've said something similar too to Rodimus. I still can't stand him. Vote for Optimus Prime!!!

Ah, there is always a method to Megatron's madness. I see it, I have never been blind to it. Soundwave I am guessing already had his orders... Megatron will kick Ass*trontain (bad pun) and then tend to Starscream while Soundwave cleans up the mess! Bad Astrotrain!! (Something about this is awful hot... )

For some reason...Astrotrain struck me as the sado-masochism type. The severe one. I don't really know why. It doesn't help either that I absolutely love hurt/angst/comfort/romance fic (which is devilishly hard to pull of with a pairing like Megatron and Starscream). Yeah, Starscream should only be aused by Megatron, which is why torture by someone else will be viewed as a truly nightmarish experience.

I'll choose 'no one can top Megatron being sado-masochistic and looking sexy at it' because really, I can count the number of the bad guys that look cool while being bad - most are just wannabes. Why it's hard to pull off a MegaScream story? Because I really want to portray them as real attraction and not merely you're-sexy-I-wanna-frag-you kind of relationhip. See why I told you it's hard? With someone like Starscream and Megatron, it's hard to make them really falling for someone and not just for one night stands without getting TOO fluffy (seriously though, I would've loved to see Megatron relented to Starscream's antics, but not to the extent of Don Juan De Marco).

Just as long as when you do it, you're not an ass about it. I know you won't be, and I can take criticism. As long as you don't say stuff like "That is no good, or that sucks or, I don't like it, do it like this." then I would cry... but I would be honored to have you look at my work before I post it!
