...Wonder what they've been doing??? This is actually, uh, their 1st time together. Which is why I drew Megatron's Fusion Cannon and Starscream's null-rays - to show how spontaneous the whole thing is
. BTW, world-class fail on the shading on Megatron's Fusion Cannon...

Like I'm starting to draw already with the shades. Believe me, my 1st attempt at shading ended up like I was pouring black inks ll over it>_<.

very nice!!! ~not to much fail on the cannon, but there is a question with the rays lol, How do you know how long to make them? I mean they change size so often, I mean, somehow when his arm is bent the null rays are the length of his shoulder, then when his arm his extended they are longer then his knuckles. . . I'm so lost with the 80's/Cybertron physics lol!!!! (Don't have to answer that last part, just me being a smart ass about how messed up(and yet so fucking wonderful) the 80's were for cartoons!!!

LOL me either! The cartoons are confusing, but I have this reference pic of the Seekers. In there, it depicts that the null-rays are slightly longer than his whole arm...probably about a fist longer. Yet, I still have problems estimating their length with his arms bent like that.

lol yea, I think that's why in the cartoon the null ray is often at their elbow when their arms are bent . . . all 20 of them . . . ! . . . Yea for the filler Jets that are rainbow in color!!!

There is a certain group here on DA that collects pictures that can be used as a reference. There is one on the Seeker, and in there the null-rays are attached at the second column of their arm. It's a really good place to go if you are going to draw difficult mechs and can't find decent reference sheet

lol okay, well I have the official Transformer sketch book thing. . . it's all the original sketches the artists use for the different bots, it's heka cool and was like $40 at barns and noble . . . so yea, very happy I have it!!!!

oh no, I got lucky to find the fist 5 vol(tiny 10 page) of Transformers Armada!!! and The All Hail Starscream (movie verse thing) that is between the first two movies. . . and that's about it. . .

Now you know how miserable life is for a TF fan here. I don't have anything against the movie (okay, there's someting; the lack of plots on RotF) but G1 has always been my foremost fascination. Which suckz coz I can't find a thing here.

yeah... you know I like this!! Starscream looks like he doesn't know what to make of what happened and he is slightly alarmed by it! Megatron on the other servo looks like he expected what happened and that he is handling it like a pro... probably inwardly enjoying Starscream's reaction. *mind wonders off in a dirty direction* Okay... yeah... your shading is FINE! stop criticizing your work like that! I think it looks great!
