Description The process of death coming to the living is a complicated one, a grand conundrum that shall always baffle the remaining mortals. The process of bringing life to the dead, however, is one that is surprisingly simple. All one needs is the right ingredients, the right words and the right state of mind to make cold flesh rise from its grave. Perhaps it is because the dead are not so picky? That they do not fear this great change like the living do? Bah, it does not matter in the end. What matters is the task at hand, and the power that comes with it. The foul pollen of the forbidden flower must be spread, so that others may accept its blessing. Sadly, the living are so fearful of change, and they are filled with delusions about their grand fate and perfect death. So such gifts must be given through force, and that means many hands will be needed. Thankfully, one can easily amass the forces necessary if they are just patient enough...

I always loved the almost-perfect husks insects leave behind from a molt, especially cicadas. The empty shell would work well as a vessel for some thing else to inhabit, so I thought that a cicada necromancer that reanimated its discarded husks would be pretty cool!

I love the colours used, and the concept behind this!

I would pay this guy to go to the park by my house, just so he could remove the copious amount of cicada husks...

Thanks! I am happy with how the black and green color scheme came out!

He would remove them all right, but then you would have a copious amount of cicada zombies milling about, so what then?

Your welcome!

And uhh... that would be a problem... Step on them?

Well at that point you are trading intact cicada husks for crushed ones. I guess those ones are a little easier to ignore.

But I guess we would end up back at square one, with cicada husks (intake or crushed) lying around everywhere... It's a never ending cycle!

a controller of shedinjas, except this time they are zombies instead of ghost-types.

I would say that they still lean heavy towards a ghost-type, as they are husks reanimated by magic and pollen. Pretty much just a possessed shell.
