Description
When Osryx left the Underworld and ventured to the surface, his parents were quite obviously worried. Up above was a truly inhospitable place. A horrid purgatory populated by hideous hairless ice flingers and gnarled acid-spewing poison roots. An unnatural chill slithered through out that land, all while that terrifying blue void hung above with its infinite maw. To ease his parents' anxiety, Osryx had promised to write home often and keep in touch, and his folks did the same. He really enjoyed writing his letters home, and getting word from his mom and dad always soothed him whenever he felt homesick. Sometimes his folks would even send presents, which was always appreciated. However, Osryx has to keep reminding mom that he doesn't need any more weapons. Yes, demon-forged axes, blades and hammers are second to none, but he already brought what he needed with him, and the point of this order is to bring peace not war. Still, it seems that no matter how many times he tells her that the surface world isn't nearly as violent and cruel as folk down below believe, she still will send the occasional war club and fang blade. But what can you do? Mothers will be mothers, and mothers always worry.----------------------------------------------------------

This is the first time i've seen Otis talk. I thought he was mostly silent. Regardless, he's still one of the cutest Knights of them all. I kind of wonder what he's eating.
Guess mothers are generally the same everywhere, no matter what being they might be. Though i do wonder, who is the messenger or mailman that goes from the Underworld to the surface and back to bring over these gifts and messages?

Yep, Otis does talk. I just never drew anything that had him with dialogue before. His words and advice are his main tools, as his small, slow body isn't really cut out for fighting or wielding weapons. As for his snack, he is enjoying some lettuce!
Indeed, doesn't matter the realm or species, mothers will always be worried about their children and finding some way to lend a hand! The messenger who carries the gifts and letters is actually Natali, who will go on a special trip to deliver such messages. Such excursions take a few days though, what with the distance and navigation. Except for when Kazadia sends weapons, that takes Natali much longer to deliver as she has to figure out how to drag the things back to base. That is another reason why Osryx is trying to get his mom to stop, as it really tuckers Natali out trying to carry those things.

That makes sense. I didn't entirely express myself correctly, as i meant that i didn't know Otis talked so freely. I thought he was a bit more silent of a person. Still, no matter the amount of words, words do indeed hold power.

I see! I can indeed imagine that taking a while, as i reckon weapons of demonic culture aren't exactly the lightest things to wield. And if i remember correctly, Natali isn't all that big of a creature, so that's even worse. Really sweet of Osryx to think of her in regards to his mother sending weapons. I hope Natali gets some good rest each time when she returns.
Does somebody ever come with her on such a journey?

Ah, I see what you mean! He does partake in chit-chat and small talk, though he is a bit less jokey and goofy than some of the other order members.
Hey, when you are in a land of surface dwelling monsters and other vile blasphemers, a good demon forged ax can take care of many things!
Yeah, demons are a huge fan of heavy weaponry and the bigger it is, the better it must be! That doesn't help her that much though, as she is pretty small. Just have to grab the handle and drag it along the best she can! Osryx at least lets her rest for a few days after such a journey before he has her do any of her usual rounds and what not. As for tagging along, no one really does initially as no one can keep up with her when she is flying unburdened. If the order is specifically buying or receiving something from the Underworld denizens, than they may send some members with a cart on a slower journey behind her while she notifies the proper tradesmen. If Osryx or Selena ever want to go out and visit their home towns, than Natali is spared a trek as they will just carry what ever their folks give them. Even so, such trips are not a common occurrence for her, as she will only do them once a month or two.

I see now. thanks for explaining and clarifying! I guess that makes sense, as he's one of the physically weaker, slower and more vulnerable Knights and therefore has grown up in a more serious way.
That is very true. Good craftsmanship and skill with a weapon is invaluable in a land where a flipping stool can come to life and bite your leg off and a plant can make you suffer for the rest of your life unless you do the thing the plant wants.
That is true to an extent, as I imagine the demons being a very physically strong species. And if a weapon's heavier, there's more force and therefore more damage potential when swinging it. Doesn't take away that a weapon that's too big can become quite cumbersome.
That's quite the burden for Natali, to say the least. That's fair enough, and makes sense about the knights going out with a cart to the Underworld to specifically get things. And nice to know that the trips for Natali aren't too common.
