It's a trick, see, me scanner won't work with me laptops windows vista and I'm too lazy to scan using my desktop, so's I gotta photy graph the stuff using my digital camera. the things is, mind, that the lcd display on my camera is crackidee/broken so i can't tell what setting the flash is on or what the exposure/ white-balance is. ergo, I tend to get a real grainy dark image, first step is doing an ould auto levels shit, which seems to clean up and retrieve a lot of the lost colours and make the line contrast stwonger. Next doubling up the image and setting the top on on multiply, and I work a mixture of on top and inbetween, depending on how much texture i wanna show through, sometimes, like in the water for this, I'll throw in a difference or exclusion layer, use the bezier select tool to chop slices out all willy nilly. I really have no idea what i'm doing in fairness
