Diggin' the two different treatments on this pose. I usually keep hacking at the same sheet of paper until the model gets up....

twas interesting to conciously approach the same pose differently, one linearly defined thother one by tone. we did like a chair before this in the middle of the room, the tonal version of that was pretty cheap but the linear one was pretty creepy, so it took a bit to snap into the depthy charcoalyness cause i'd be leaning more towards the linear meself. do you still get to do a bit of life drawing, yeah? drawing from life with your style it's very solidly line based and ya can get loads of abstraction out of it, but it'd be interesting to see what you come up with given the same brief of drawing like someone else. just a thought ...

thanks cap'n, from me class was behind me in the easel circle and he nearly hit me when i went changing the face. kinda made a mess of a good rendition, note the rubber pick ups on the nose and cheeks, damage control. oh well thems the breaks
