this is my favourite of the bunch. it has the best form and it's the best balance of stylisation and accuracy, in my opinion. i really like the hands and how they rest on his chest, the outstretched leg is great. there's a little connection problem on the bent leg, though. but overall i think it's tops.
great texture in the background too.

thanks monsignor Blaney, this was from about three weeks ago actually, forgive the descriptions innaccuracy, it was in a tonal studies class if ya know what i mean without any real brief other than that. twas done in condensed charcoal and there was no rubbering. There was something crazy goin on with his hip angle and knee there alright, possibly it's too high up in the drawing if ya kin what i mean, kinda dislocated from the hip. the background texture was because of the board i was drawing on, twas one of those old dirty crusty paint covered boards, you know the type

alright, i'll upload some o' them. it's a bit of a pain because i use a massive newsprint pad to draw on. but for you, Eimhin, i'll do it.
and you better believe i know that type of board. we used to put layer after layer of newsprint to try to smooth it out.
