I'm sorry Duff, but its not nuts at all. it's a penis minus the nuts. well i think so now after i coloured it and realized... yer man's stuff is all very retro colours and so i was trying to reproduce that vibe of slightly off colours and wrong highlights and stuff. I got all the model sheets done, and i've got 30 panels storyboarded, but i gotta do some action analysis for the animations and stuff and record the voices. I have no excuse except my fear that it won't be any good and i've totally rationalised beyond that knowing that if i just work at it hard enough it will be. Nevertheless reluctance persists and it seems I am not the msater of myself in yet another circumstance. i must say, yet again, i gotta get some more cocaine.

Sounds good. Do you really have to record the voices? wouldn't that be production as opposed to pre-production? I'm as good as certain that whatever you've got is good enough, just keep plugging away and don't doubt yourself and don't think so much.

am, well it says to have a soundtrack prepared as in, the text what you're using and then the possible music choices. but i wanna get something decent together which reminds me... i gotta use me aunts piano on the weekend. I'm seriously working at it when i'm at work plastering though, i was going through the angles and how to apporach the shadows. I think i might be overly cerebral in my conceptualisaiton process. yes the fact that i used those words says it all, almost scruffesque. I know that they're gonna be lenient towards me anyways but i'd prefer if they weren't, ya know. I just wanna do something properly for once ya know, not just a rush job. But inevitably it will be. I'm shooting the action analysis tommorow which should help with the posing for the rest of the storyboards. what i'm more or less doing is shooting with the camera the compositions for the storyboard, character wise, and then just referencing poses from that. quick and easy. i gave myself a deadline of sunday for finishing the storyboards, got another 72 panels left, yay. thanks i'm really just ranting here and putting it off for no real reason. I honestly think i'd get more stuff done on time if i didn't eat so much, will you testify to this? maybe a feed bag'll work... rig the mechanism.... pulleys..... and a wee water spun mill wheel should all.... yes, ahem, thanks for giving me ranting room. focal lavender

Yeah, I know what you mean. I thought if they were going to show leniance then you wouldn't have been given the project. But I'd say it'll only be a rush job relative to being given months to do it, it sounds like the work you've done so far is pretty thourough. I'd be more worried about Scruff not getting as much done but even so I think they will offer him a place, it's not in their best interests to lose students.
side note: Me and Louise were wondering if Thom had to do the summer project, do you know?
As for food, I was thinking of creating a sort of hamster setup for you. A bowl of oats and big upside-down bottle of water with an animation setup in corner
......come to think of it, I could doing with something like that for myself.

the whole summer project thing is just a formality in itself, what grade it carries is totally up to them, but yeah. Thom didn't get a summer project as far as i know, though that is troublesome.... i wonder when thom isn't in front of me sometimes, that he is commanding vast armies of darkness across the horizon bleed. Sometimes i think that's why the sunsets are so pretty. re: hamster dealy: make it bigger with more wheels and a nitro booster.

I wonder if the summer project isn't just some sort of deterrent, a project so frustrating and shit that it compels you to not be in that situation again.
As for Thom, I can't see what he did that ye lot didn't. I'm confused and I think I may never know how the animation admin (or adminators) think.

Yes, re: thom, profusion of confusion, i mean not that i'd wish more work on him or anything but, i really don't know how he's getting on, he's not really a very open guy. re: DEALY: may need it with a motor too, jury rigged off the hamsterwheel power source, my car got totalled today by a teleporter. scottie not long in his grave and already it's wreaking havoc.
