sketches from wekend. i was really working through these drawings rather than leaving them once something went awry. so these are the sum total of my sketches for saturday, not as much as i might normally churn out in a day of sketching but the qulaity i hope is much higher. to the right is the character design for the nameslate project for one of the characters, HE'S A GHOST you see. the rest were drawn from the one position on the coach either referenced from people on the telly or people across the road waiting at the bus stop, all within easy apprasel without having to move. am cool rock out!Related content

if i could do everything from one spot on the coach, that would be great. it always ends up that as soon as i get comfortable with all my stuff on my lap (pens all within reach as well as some sort of savory beverage and an ashtray) i have to get up for some asenine reason. nice sketches! i like your handwriting.

i was well fed, hydrated and i don't smoke, with a lack of motivation and general ennui with the world, i could do nothing but stay still 'pon my couch. oh 'n' lately i've been changing my handwriting to what you see afore you. it seems that every two years or so i make me change my writing buut then over time it just descends into the same scribble again. how quaint

i kinda do that too. every few years i change the way i write certain letters or numbers but i guess it still ends up looking about the same. oh, and you said you were well fed and hydrated...does that mean you had a window close enough to the couch that you could pee out of without getting up?

thanks chief, i'm taking a brief break from animating him after working through the night. it's mad rough mind, but it's due tomorrow so it doesn't really matter if it's clean or not as long as it gets done. I'm a gona try to upload a cut of it here tomorrow or so, hopefully

i really like pooka. he reminds me a little of a mix of baseman with old fleischer shorts.

it's perfectactly natural to have those feelings. i pinched a bit of pooka from del the funky homosapien's gorillaz character too
