hmmm.... yes you're totally right. i was like looking at the pose and i said to myself "a people shaped water jug". the pose was real sinewy so i decided to do a relatively un-abtractified take on it, curving lines rather than simplifying them, and trying to get a "spread" like flow to the drawing to cheat some perspectiveness.
