Time to roll once again! This one, you will definitely like.

Eduardo, Jon, and Mark's future selves' designs that will be used in a future story (no pun intended). Inspired by a couple of designs made by other fans, but a good portion of it came out of my head.
Speaking of that story in particular, I've thought of a couple of names for it and settled on one in particular: No Future. But for now, that's only the placeholder name for it!

In the setting where the Red Leader with his legion of followers rule a dictatorship, there are people who resist his control and defy his beliefs. Some of these people have their own war against the police force and the army, but they also try to maintain some form of peace through underground activities. They even try to save the lives of those who fall deep in the Red Leader's hands, and with some hope maybe even recruit them into the group.
Those people are in the Resistance led by a man named Eduardo.

However, the Resistance aren't complete Samaritans (as in, good guys) and fight fire with more fire. They launch their own attacks against the Red Leader, but with little to no success. Sometimes, one or two lives are even lost in the effort. Eduardo has started the group not for peace, but for revenge against the Red Leader. This personal vendetta has become one of the reasons behind the Resistance's less-than-the-usual-nice actions, and they've even began to capture people from the Red Leader's side for information. And maybe for a little bit of torturing to send a message to the enemy side. That begs the question, are they really all that better than the Red Leader's forces?

It won't be long until the future turns to a new direction when Eduardo and Edd cross paths once again - not as enemies, but as reluctant and begrudging allies. It all began when The Resistance took Edd in after he escaped his prison cell... but for what?

Because Eduardo, Jon, and Mark weren't created yet before WTFuture, in this story they are very involved with the plot of this story. That is going to be a plot point, too - why do they exist in this future? I'll let you wonder about that!

Future Eduardo has thrown away his tendency to treat his friends as tools, but because of the events of the story, he has become too distracted to bother with insulting people for existing. Instead, all of that meanness has pretty much been focused into destroying the Red Leader for taking everything he had away from him - fortunately, that meanness does not extend to people associated with him. Future Eduardo has become a grumpier person due to events in the past that lead to this future, and inside he feels a little bummed that the Resistance has become a group for good deeds. Maybe even a little bored.
Future Jon is no longer Eduardo's scapegoat, but is instead his equal now since Eduardo is too tired to care about treating him like crap. Future Jon has become a little more brave since then and genuinely believes in the Resistance's good cause. However, he doesn't realize that Eduardo's intentions are something else than good... yet.
Future Mark embraced his scholarly side and even wears glasses again. Because why not? He has also taken levels of snark, but sometimes he just makes an ass out of himself due to a lack of common sense (then again, when has these characters ever had common sense?). Definitely the smartest out of the trio.

This concept art has been in the works for two to three months and couldn't have been released sooner because of laziness and other factors called life. The art is slightly outdated, and I plan to remake these pieces of concept art regarding the Future characters with proper anatomy.
Originally, Future Mark wasn't supposed to be wearing glasses! But after watching PowerEdd, I decided to have him take them up again.
(Another fun fact: out of the Future characters, I say Future Mark is my favorite because of his design. These Future characters are meant to contrast with their counterparts' designs, but it shows even more with Future Matt and Mark. Woah what did I even do to him.)

Once I find a way to make it all connect well, then I'll be able to make it into a comic. Some ideas may be discarded as well.
