Description
Just so we're clear... I've seen professional vectors and I've been seeing a pattern. It is a common mistake and I'm certain this will help.
This tutorial applies to the Inkscape, and Ponyscape programs, BUT it may also go for Adobe Illustrator, a program which I have not wasted my money on, because I am conservative, yet unprofessional like that... Problem?
EDIT 1: Added the middle panel showing the gradient area.
EDIT 2: Added the differences between a mare's eyes, and a filly's.

No problem, also.. the brighter the light shining on the eyes, the closer the handles are to each other.
