Hey everyone! This is the colored version of [link] . So anyways....this started off as a really strange sketch...as do my other sketches, but I wanted to see where I could go this one. I like how it came out.

Not unexpected, but I'm not too crazy with how the hands came out....hmmm, but other than that, I'm happy with how the angle came out, seems to give it a kind of depth. I also wanted to create some for Cloud's 25th birithday. But since I'm more of the emo/brooding/angsty type, Cloud is all lonely here.

Which leads the to the title of the image. Like..."Some birthday." I remembered writing a story back in 10th grade and we had to talk about something "wistful" and I thought of my birthday, how over the years, compared to when I was younger, birthdays just don't feel the same anymore...like they've lost their joyfulness. People are all happy about it, texting you, using Facebook to tell you "Happy Birthday!" even in real life, someone telling you that. But to me...I long for those days so distant, but eh. Nothing I can do about it. Past is the past, moving to better things year by year. So I don't know...which how this came about.
