Hey guys, ever wanted to see the illegitimate child between Turboman and a slot machine?Perhaps my most poorly designed RM yet. I don't really like how he came out too much and it took a while to get the colours all correct. Saying that though, I didn't originally like Arcane's colour scheme too much but it ended up growing on me anyway.Β Someone keep him away from me before I change his design again.
So yeah, anyway, just as I did with Relicman's concept art I suppose I'll shed some light on him before I go on to making a proper ref for him:
-The oldest of Dr. Gamble's creations, the most bulkiest one and is a literal tank defense-wise.
-Looks intimidating but is actually pretty laid-back. Something of a gentle giant I suppose.
-Has the most immoral job out of Relic and Arcane.
-Actually pretty knowledgeable about the law and what he is and isn't allowed to do.
-Acted like a big brother to Arcane and Relic, and both of them love him dearly (though Relic does get tired of his antics sometimes).
-Would love to have more leisure time and has dreams of someday going to Vegas, but his job gets in the way...
I got some assistance from when picking the colours. They were a real help!

Ventureman: Oh, so not really for aesthetic reasons then? *At this point he is concerned that Rhythm is bringing up his bad past so much, especially to a stranger. Both Coda and himself have been through some bad stuff but even they never bring it up this much! Regardless, he tries to deter the conversation away from Rhythm's past.* Really I can't blame you, the cost of getting parts repaired nowadays or even just getting a paint job to hide a mark is through the roof. I wouldn't trust anyone who offers a cheap repair job either, those back-alley folk are always shady.

Rhythm: At least my brother is good at repairs... he's repaired himself numerous times... (They approach the building lobby)

Ventureman: That's good to hear! Normally I just get my dad to do my repairs and stuff unless it's something minor like one of my spinners stops working. *They finally reach the lobby and Ventureman pauses* Well, we're here now. I guess I should be going now, right?

Rhythm: D-do you want some E? A-a token of thanks...

Ventureman: No thanks, I drank one a little before meeting you. Also it's pretty dark out now and I really should get back. Thanks for offering though! *Attempts to smile but it only causes his eyes to look like two upside down 'V' shapes...*Β

(rhythm jumps in fear) Ahh! P-please?

Ventureman: No thanks, I'm sticking with my decision. That and also I don't really think that I need an award for a simple act of kindness. Just don't get lost again, okay? Stay safe. *Walks off towards the lobby's exit* See ya!

(He bumps into a figure in black armor) Ahhh!

*Ventureman looks at the black armoured figure, just a bit confused over what Rhythm's scream was about* Hmm?

Bass: Hey! Watch where ya goin'!
Rhythm: Bass!

*Notices the panic in Rhythm's reaction* You know this person Rhythm? *Bass glares up at Ventureman while he observes him*
Bass: I'm surprised ya don't!

(Let me control Bass, is that ok?)
Rhythm: Y-yes...h-he's my brother... d-don't hurt eachother...
(Bass nods) Adoptive, but yes. I'm his brother.

((Eh? Sure.))
Ventureman: Ah, alright then. I was worried that you two were enemies or something. Hey, Bass was it? Your brother here got lost, just to let you know. It wasn't his fault so don't be too harsh on him if you give him a lecture or anything like that. *Heads towards door, again* Well, I should be taking my leave, don't want to make Coda worried. Or bored, there's that too.

Bass: Coda? Who is he? Or she?

*Ventureman pauses and looks at Bass* She is technically my cousin, or something along those lines, but we're so close we consider each other siblings. That's all you really need to know about her.

Bass: Fine then... I make it my responsibility to familiarize myself with Rhythm's friends...

*Pauses* Wait, what? You know me and Rhythm only met today right? The chances of us ever meeting again are pretty slim, and I wouldn't call someone I just met a 'friend' as such. Also there's the fact that I'm too busy with my job to actually bother trying to form an actual friendship with him.

(Bass grumbles) Still... I know I'm not the greatest influence on him... but I need to know who he knows... just incase I or his girlfriend can't be there for him.

Ventureman: Right... Well, I'm Ventureman, and Rhythm also knows my sister as he found both of us walking together. Coda isn't here now because she couldn't pay for the bus fare to get here, but anyway. I guess there isn't much to say about either of us? Both me and my sister aren't Wilybots, Light Numbers or some of Cossack's creations, and we're neutral as far as alignments go. However, we're not owned by any companies as we're privately owned by our creator. Non of us are considered combat robots, technically, and we're pretty streetwise. Well, I'm streetwise anyway. Coda is younger than me and is still learning about things, but she knows a bit too. *He quickly glances at the clock on the wall. 10:34 PM. He silently hopes that this conversation hurries up so he can get home, though he wouldn't actually mention that as that'd be rude*

Bass: I see... I see... *he noticed that venture looked at the clock* Do you want a ride home? Rhythm can get to his apartment on his own now.

Ventureman: What? No, no it's fine! The bus fare I bought is a two-way one so I can just use that to get back. Thanks though. *Walks towards exit. Again.* See ya!

(Bass follows) I insist... my car will be faster.

*Ventureman walks outside, with Bass still in tow* As I said, I bought a two-way ticket, and it'd be a waste if I spent the extra money on it for nothing. That, and I don't know you. I would rather spend longer taking a route to my home I know alone rather than get a lift home from a stranger who could very well be untrustworthy. I know you're Rhythm's brother and everything but still. *At this point, he thinks to himself, that if Bass continues to pester him then he'll just have to ignore him. No one owes him anything he feels like, even if he was kind to Rhythm, and he certainly isn't accepting something from a person he doesn't know when he doesn't particularly need it*

*As Ventureman continues to walk and Bass moodily re-enters the hotel lobby, he holds back a snigger at Bass' reply. He wasn't expecting an insult, never mind a childish one like that, but still he continues forward. He begins thinking about Coda, and hoping she got home safe and bought that take-away they went out to get in the first place. Then, realisation struck; Coda dropped her bag. Coda dropped her bag with her money in it. Fuck, he knew he should have went and got the meal alone. He just hopes that she found her bag, or went home and asked for the money to buy it. Saying that though, she can lack common sense at times to actually think about doing that. Maybe he should go back inside and ask Bass or Rhythm if they have change? He really doesn't like asking for things from people though... But he needs this. Just this once, he'll ask. He heads inside swiftly to see Rhythm and Bass talking while heading up the stairs.*
Ventureman: Hey, uhh- I don't know how to say this but uhh, can you spare some change please if that's alright? Sorry, it's just that me and Coda were gonna get take-away while we were out, but I just remembered that she kinda lost her money... *Next time, he's paying for take-away*

Rhythm: H-How much do you need?

Ventureman: Yeah, she dropped the bag with her wallet in it. And her new sketchbook. And the four tubs of ice cream we went out and bought... *Okay, he's just going to stop thinking about what contents were in the bag before he gets himself more pissed off. Internally, of course* Anyway, I guess that 620 zenny should be enough, if that's alright.
((Note that zenny are based off of yen, so even the cheapest things are in the hundreds normally. It isn't as much as it sounds basically.))

(Bass blushes)

Ventureman: You're really giving me that much? Thanks, man. I'll tell you what, after I go out and buy the take-away I'll come back tomorrow and give you the change if you'd like. I'll have to know which room number you're in though. *He notices Bass blush, but doesn't comment. Maybe he's just flustered over Rhythm's kindness?*

Bass: He's there most of the time...

Ventureman: Alright then. Oh right, by the way, Coda might end up coming down with me too. Is that alright?

Rhythm: Sure. That'll be fine. (He smiles brightly)

Ventureman: Okay, well uhh, bye then! *Ventureman 'smiles' back and leaves the hotel lobby, for real this time*

The very next day, Ventureman (and Coda included) go to the Apartment Tower where Rhythm lives.
*Ventureman knocks on door 5020 and waits patiently*

*Ventureman tries to be cool and casual, but his greeting comes out more happier than he expected* Hey! I brought the change.
*Arcanewoman notices her brother's change in tone and smiles a little in amusement. She smiles more warmly at Rhythm during her greeting however* Hello~!

Ventureman: Well I didn't have any E-tanks this morning, so why not?
Arcanewoman: I wouldn't mind some either!

(Rhythm gets E-tanks) Bro is in my bed... he had some trouble last night.

*Venture and Arcane both take their E-tanks. Venture opens his and takes a swig*
Ventureman: Why? What happened?
*Arcanewoman's ears merely perked up at the news*

Rhythm: Megaman caught him trying to hook up with Roll at the Light Residence.

Ventureman: Oh. Well, I mean, was his attention unwanted by her?

Rhythm: Bass and Roll love each other... he just got careless.

(Rhythm nods) Rock still sees Bass as a crook.

Ventureman: Still? So they know each other? Sorry I don't really know, but I don't really get caught up in what other robot masters are doing unless it has something to do with my family. It normally doesn't.
