Hey guys, ever wanted to see the illegitimate child between Turboman and a slot machine?Perhaps my most poorly designed RM yet. I don't really like how he came out too much and it took a while to get the colours all correct. Saying that though, I didn't originally like Arcane's colour scheme too much but it ended up growing on me anyway.Β Someone keep him away from me before I change his design again.
So yeah, anyway, just as I did with Relicman's concept art I suppose I'll shed some light on him before I go on to making a proper ref for him:
-The oldest of Dr. Gamble's creations, the most bulkiest one and is a literal tank defense-wise.
-Looks intimidating but is actually pretty laid-back. Something of a gentle giant I suppose.
-Has the most immoral job out of Relic and Arcane.
-Actually pretty knowledgeable about the law and what he is and isn't allowed to do.
-Acted like a big brother to Arcane and Relic, and both of them love him dearly (though Relic does get tired of his antics sometimes).
-Would love to have more leisure time and has dreams of someday going to Vegas, but his job gets in the way...
I got some assistance from when picking the colours. They were a real help!

Also, he'd probably run around holding it severed arm and hitting people (probably Arcane) with it.

This guy is rad! I know how you feel about finding colors for these, I don't feel that he looks bad with this scheme, casino slot machines come in so many colors I'm sure there is one similar to this!Β

Yeah! Tank character! My favorite! I love how wide his torso is. The shoulder pads are a bit too much IMHO, but it's all cool. And I really like that digital eye bit he's got. Black shades with red pupils make for some really badass character pictures.

Yeah, it was the shoulder pads that I struggled the most on really. It's that whole case of trying to balance out how much of each colour it uses and the colour placement. I didn't originally want to add the purple triangle(?) bit on them, but then if I left it as only gold with a red outer part, I felt the gold would be a bit too excessive on the upper part of the body. I had a similar issue with Relicman's lower legs come to think of it...

(Yeah, maybe, I did get some inspiration from Dealerman.EXE's design so that'd explain why they look similar. I was kinda hoping to make Ventureman look more different than him though, but there's only so far you can go with a character with a certain theme before they look similar to other characters with the same theme.Β )Β

He's pretty tough-lookin'! Definitely has the size advantage, I had a slot machine fall on me once(don't ask) so I know a bit about how much they can hurt on contact alone. XD
(I've nearly died in stupid accidents quite frequently, to the point that I am concerned it may be some cosmic joke. I was known in school as the kid who got run over by the bus!)

Heh, I've been in situations that could have killed me. I think everyone has their unlucky moments in their life, it's just some are more unlucky than others...
But in my life I've not once heard of someone nearly get crushed to death by a slot machine. Shelves and bikes maybe, but never slot machines.
But hey, you know what they say: comedy equals tragedy plus time.
(Run over by a bus? That seriously happened? The closest I've heard about that happening was when my brother got hit by a bus while wearing a horse mask. He's fine btw, he just bruised his wrist.)

Yeah, I probably fall squarely in the "more than others" category since besides the slot machine, I had HALF A CAR fall on me once. XD
Pretty much, it wasn't as funny to me right when it happened but it's kind of evolved into a weird pickup line now, haha.
(Yep, nearly lost a leg in the process. I've also nearly been impaled by a solid fuel rocket, actually been impaled by debris, had my leg ripped out of the socket when I got tossed off a jetski, lost all the skin on my arms and legs and had a person cannonball TEETH-FIRST into my head at the pool as a kid. Just to name a few. XD It's not an understatement to say that I'm mostly scar tissue, most of my body has been wrecked at one time or another.)

How does this stuff even happen and how does it only seem home in on you? You're perhaps one of the most unlucky people I've ever heard of.
All of this stuff sounds really excruciating. How you're still here I'll never even begin to fathom, your body must be made of steel or something! Like, I'm pretty fortunate really as I've never even broken a bone and the only scars I really seem to have other than the ones I got as a kid are the ones on my legs which I accidentally got by shaving. I absolutely hate pain (as do most) so I honestly can't think of what you went through!

So, plot twist: right after I had this conversation with you, the next day a car ran out of control and through the front of my workplace. If I hadn't gotten into my car 2 minutes earlier, I would've been hit by it. Yeesh, just another chapter in the "Things that nearly killed Brock"-saga.
