So, it started as a sketch then I discovered the lovely lineart pen tool in SAI and wanted to uppercut myself for not giving it a try sooner.So worked on this in between other things and wanted to go for uhm icey, weak, washed colours?
I don`t know... I`m not sure if I like it now that I abused the colour adjustment options in photoshop for a hour and half *cough* Anywaaaay :,D ... I`ve been wanting to draw adult version of Maruth for a while now! Not that he looks all that mature lol poor fella is doomed to look like a midget who never passed puberty. *shot*
So, here he is! All alone in a palace of ice, with a snow globe that holds uh, his heart while his face is breaking? Totally symbolism all over the place guys! So much that I`m not even sure what I had in mind with all this!

A lot of manga/anime artists seem to all use Paint Tool SAI, is it that awesome a program? I might wanna try it out :0

Paint Too SAI is quite good for anime style and the lines drawn with 1-3px size brush show much sharper than in photoshop (unless of course I`m some idiot who doesn`t know how to set photoshop`s brush properties right and that is quite likely too...
You should give it a try.

I've tried both, but I can never find any good tutorials.... ._. I recently got SAI and I'm so overwhelmed I don't know what to do.
