Okay, here's some of my AU:

As you know, Nuka became king for being the only one to accept the throne. Kiara didn't want to be queen and Kion either. The other children of Simba and Nala were too young for it.

Nuka knows the meaning of being adopted by a lovely family. He knows that was lucky to have an opportunity. He wanted to make a change, and became the father of so many homeless cubs, not only lions.

The lionesses help him to raise the cubs, and even though he is a busy king, he passes time with all his children.

Of course, one of them has to be the next king. It was a hard decision, but finally, Nuka chose the first cub that he adopted.

_"One day, you will rule the Pridelands. Your siblings will have the important role of protecting the kingdom, and helping you when you think things are going wrong. You will be king, yes. But never forget that your family is important too"
