Wow, nice shot, I just think I might have to do a Fuji Velvia cross after seeing this. Question, do you cross them yourself?

Sadly I have no darkroom to develop color in, so I have to deliver them to a local store. (Japanfoto) Anything I should tell em? Like "be carefull with the magneta" or "pour on with the cyan"?

Anyways. I really like this shot! Nice composition and really nice sky. Did you use any skylight filters or something?

Thanks!
I didnt do them myself. Thye were done by a pro-printingshop on my specifications. When crossing Velvia in particular, you lose pretty much all detail and all colors will be off. Therefore it needs to be visually previewed before printing (on one of those pre-monitors), and then adjusted PER image. However, Crossprocessed Velvia unbalanced will be green. A LOT of green. So tell them to compensate for green. The thing is, they can turn out any way you like... it depends on the photograph and the way its adjusted. You basically have them developed with balancing per photo (NOT per film!), preferably handprinted, and then you take the best ones out and tell em to do those again but this time more blue, or red, or less detail there etc...

Well, no, its not very expensive... it doesnt have to be that is...
you just have t find a shop that print the way you like your pictures to be... basically... and then its not much more expensive than normal... but if you get them back all green, then its not a good printing place.

But that'll cost you a great deal I guess.. And I don't really think the lab is going to do that for me..
