There are several NPOs that take care of abandoned animals! If you're interested in adopting a new member to your family, just try to contact one of those organizations. Check the [link] for an example of an NPO that exists in Coimbra [Portugal].

"Yoda" (it's not his real name, it's the nickname I gave him because his big ears!) was walking on the road and when he saw us, he came along with us but keeping a safe distance. He even had lunch with us!
I thought he was an abandoned dog but fortunelly he wasn't. He got lost but a friend of his owner was looking for him (so it seemed!) and take him back home. So I guess this short story had an happy ending! I hope Yoda is ok...

O facto de não a teres tirado direitinha, mas sim de modo a que o declive pareça o horizonte, dá um efeito muito bom à estrada.

Adoro a sombra e os tons e a curva da estrada, lá trás, com as nuvens. E a língua de fora.
[E isto fez-me lembrar aquela coisa horrível do 'artista' (uma ova) costa-riquenho que deixou morrer o cão vadio na exposição....

Abandoned pets are really heart breaking...I mean, if you don't want your pet or can't look after it anymore, why not simply contact an organization that can - instead of just letting it loose on the streets, to literally fight to stay alive!
Hope Yoda is ok, and happily reunited with his owners! Just love your work, as always!

It really breaks my heart thinking about people abandoning their pets like that. I couldn't ever do that to my Billy buddy!
Gosh, I love the angle of the road going off into the distance. Everything is just positioned so well inside the frame. A very emotive piece.
