I really liked how these guys turned out, despite the fact that it started out as a "quick doodle" of an old character. So I gave them a bit of a background and polished it up a little.Here's the old drawing it's based off of: [link]
I'm still not really sure what he is. But he was partially inspired by werewolves, kangaroos, and wild pigs. His pet thing is just some sort of cross between a finch and a gecko. It has a ring in its' tail so that it can be grabbed and launched at things. Please excuse my exposition.

I saw one of your other submissions so I thought I'd check out the others. Your arts come a long way. I appreciate the originality and quality of this piece. To be honest it reminds me of that kids show Chaotic if it were beefed up a bit of course. But thta could just be me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh man. Chaotic? I haven't seen that show on the TV in years. I wasn't a huge fan of it because it looked cheaply animated, but there were some very cool characters in there.

Yes, in my opinion poor animation is today's downfall in cartoon series. But that was why I watched it, the concept was pretty cool.
Not to seem like a creeper but I'm actually Paul from like grade 8 days. We stopped talking some age ago. I didn't feel inclined to mention it earlier Lol

Yeah, animated cartoons took a nose dive some time after they stopped being traditionally hand-animated. There are still a few companies that like to produce higher-quality digital animation that mimics the hand-animated varieties, but I think most are vector-based these days. All bones and walk cycles. -_-" This is why I don't watch TV anymore. I haven't for several years.
