The overall silhouette is too big and complicated and it's too much armor for a mage, imo.
see this for a good exampleΒ static.squarespace.com/static/β¦ (nevermind that's a female)

Haha, It's not out of shape.. I built it entirely from the concept that was given to me.
A lot of peeps are satisfied with the results I have on the forum...
I'm still trying to get it done right with the other Devs...

You mixed different sets for that one, which doesn't really help here, as mages tend to use as little heavy armor as possible - thus the guy on the concept is mainly covered in cloth.

Yes actually I was provided with another concept that I was working with, and it's pretty much different that the first concept they gave me..
So I'm not really the one that decides how this set of armor looks... I see many people are happy with what I have so far.
I know this guy is a battlemage although he has heavy armor on him, but that's how I'm supposed to make him.

I'm well aware of that, mate (:
And if you put it that way - even the concept you were provided with doesn't have such an abundance of metal pieces (or whatever that is you covered his legs and forearms with)Β tesrenewal.com/files/skywind_fβ¦

Awesome work! What faction/race/type would this armor fall under?

Thanks It's a Battlemage Imperial, so basicaly, in the game Morrowind whoever joins the imperial red legion and is a battlemage will wear that.. not sure about the race...

Really cool! I never played a huge amount of Morrowind, though I played hundreds of hours in Oblivion and Skyrim. I might have to go back and play it, or try skywind.Β Β

Indeed! Considering how incredible Skyrim was, bringing Morrowind to Skyrim will make it incredible as well ( I hope). I wonder if you sill still be able to "Fus Ro Dah" in Skywind? Β Β

Skywind is a remake of the entire Morrowind game on the Skyrim engine, completely with new graphics and the exact same quests from the game, you can have a completely new and better experience...

There's a lecture I learned back in the days and I used it. It was from Ryan Kingslien.
He said, do 5 sculpts of which, you'll pay attention on each for like 1 or 2 hours and then, after making every one of it, continue on the next without looking on the previous one.
Use references from real life, that way you'll end up knowing what is what. Also don't forget to find books with anatomy pictures of where the bones and muscles are located.
Maybe watch some video tutorials..
I hope I helped...
